I have waiting Nokia's Android phones from
5 years ago..
I like Nokia...
A updated nokia 5 and 6 with the new snapdragon 450 and 3 gb of ram would come close to the nokia 7.
When in India?
:D
AnonD-704161, 02 Nov 2017i really hope nokia doesnt fail this time...there are few companies which have quality standar... more"quality standards" my foot...
are u, say, 12 years old boy who ONLY knows Nokia before its fall, dare to say that its product have "better quality" than other phone makers, especially the "old boy" like Samsung & Sony [Ericsson]?
Get ut facts right!
Nokia devices nowadays are made by Foxconn, an OEM manufacturers which manufacture any other products with the same standard quality, a.k,a generic quality.
In contrast, Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel, Lenovo, HTC, Samsung, and other big manufacturers made their products in their respective plant, which, in my opinion, have BETTER quality standards & quality control over Foxconn-made products (they know what they are making, unlike Nokia, who only design the product & choose the components of the said device.
Even the OLD Nokia decrease its quality over year of their high-end products, let alone cheap ones & feature phone ones...
ever heard the "notorious" N95, N73, and N91? or the most SUCKS Android ever made by "branded" manufacturers, Nokia X & X2 which uses VERY CHEAP components, but sold as mid-range phone (sold ~US$200 in my country)?
It was the same idea used by Samsung, use CRAPPY & CHEAP components suitable for low-end phones (Spreadtrum SoC, low RAM, etc), compensate it with other features (AMOLED display, long-lasting battery, decent camera/selfie camera, etc) to justify the price
(I never like Samsung since the very beginning of Android era in late 2009, but at least, they were making decent products with decent price at that time, unlike Nokia)
In short, don't be smart-ass if u don't know what u r talking about!
The old Nokia has NEVER been a "special" company, as their products are similar to Microsoft "hit-or-miss". The special ones are Sony-Ericsson & Siemens, both are able to present the "quality" of Europe products, to people in other continents.
In Sony Ericsson case, they success combining the good build quality of Ericsson with the EXCELLENT products of Sony (Walkman, CyberShot, Bravia), unlike the "half-baked" attempt of Nokia (Xpress music, Zeiss-made lenses).
PATHETIC MOVE....
obviously NOKIA can never ever regain its market in india...never......useless management....
please go and lick MICROSOFT's shoes again....
ADVISE TO THE MANAGEMENT:
1. hybrid slot sucks....
2. launch nokia 7 now to eliminate competitions....
Nokia is doing all wrong and very disappointed step by them to not launch Nokia 7 in India again like Nokia 3,6and 8. I really hate Nokia to ur this step
Go back and be slave again Microsoft .
i really hope nokia doesnt fail this time...there are few companies which have quality standards like nokia.
LOL! I think it has shutdown project. If you are not launching in India then why did you came in this business
Alright, but at least release a competitive for midrangers in India. Nokia 6 is a joke. All it has is durability ! Should’ve at least bumped up better processor.
Nokia should realize that they are in smartphone business now.
AnonD-424566, 02 Nov 2017Am I missing something here, how can you design a phone just for one country on launch, what's t... moreI'm guessing the point is that Nokia sees the world as it is. It's impossible to make one phone that fits all markets. The needs, wants and designs preferences in one region may be wholly unsuitable for another region.
So instead of Nokia making a "One Size Fits All" solution, they check the regional market and create phones tailored to that region.
€320 for a snapdragon 630. Ewww If it was a snapdragon 660 i would consider people buying it. Come on, a SD 630 is as fast as a 2013 flaship snapdragon 800. it has a single camera. For 30euros more, you get a huawei Mate 10 Lite with a bigger screen, faster SOC, 4 cameras and an all aluminium design
Lightning McQueen, 02 Nov 2017I assume that the global version Nokia 7 would be slightly different from the Chinese version.... moreWho are you kidding? If people are fine buying moto x4 and htc u11 life for around the same money, they are fine buying this almost as it is.
No problem. Its not like Nokia has monopoly in smartphone business.
Nobody cares....
Android27, 02 Nov 2017Nokia can't compete on price. Look at Asus, they probably won't launch their Zenfone 4 too, be... moreThey can if they do right over time.
Nokia can't compete on price. Look at Asus, they probably won't launch their Zenfone 4 too, because that is a price territory currently ruled by OPPO, Vivo and Samsung's A - Series.
Speaking of which, the Moto X4 isn't half as bad as an alternative to those two.
Heh conversely, Nokia can't reclaim their position in India 'anytime soon'...
Why dont you take away Nokia 6 too. It's just a bullshit phone.
Lightning McQueen, 02 Nov 2017I assume that the global version Nokia 7 would be slightly different from the Chinese version.... moreI agree the statement makes no sense, without clarification it's just too brief
There are other Nokia https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=8907&idPhone2=6885&idPhone3=8572
The Nokia 6 or the Nokia 3 as to compete with Xiaomi just on price and not on specs
Lazy releasing by passive startup! Noway, June 2018 or later!! Shame on u hmd xD
