YalokIy, 02 Nov 2017I better spend $100 on nokia but know it will last at least 2 years, not less than a year as xiaomi.just look at redmi 1s redmi 2 redmi note 3 Mi3 Mi4 Mi5 no user has compliants about these mobiles and they are using it from last two three years...
in my family we are using redmi 2 redmi note 3 (2 mobile) and redmi note 4 and till now we never faced any problem...

y... moreThey will quietly stop production of redmi 4 basic spec. When redmi 4a released people were questioning who would buy the 3s when 4a existed.
I found it difficult to get both the 4a and redmi 3 basic online but when i contacted a offline store they had ample supply of the 4a. Xiaomi was creating artificial demand.

Redmi 4 16gb/2gb version is better than redmi y1 lite because of the following reasons :-
you will get snapdragon 435 octa core processor than 425 quad core processor
Better GPU Adreno 505 vs 308
Better battery life 4100 mah vs 3080 mah
Fingerprint sensor vs no fingerprint sensor (atleast they should provide fingerprint sensor)
Compact 5 inch smartphone (if you prefer compact size phones)
Everything is downgraded except 0.5'' extra screen size and dedicated slot for micro sd
this review is based on REDMI Y1 LITE lite , NOT REDMI Y1
If you are buying redmi y1 than go ahead but you will miss battery life that is on redmi 4 4100mah , AND INSTEAD YOU WILL GET BETTER CAMERA for the same price

This year whose a little lite with a value for many news especially compared to the last year but Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x (4/64GB) probably currently represent best value for money & it will set you back 154€.
Nokija will never represent a comparable value for money to Xiaomi.
