Let me answer for yiu... They won't cause it is costly for them and they don't want customer to keep phone longer than 1,2 years..

We need it,I know everyone's needs are different but my radio and films I watch on my phone are my privacy,I would never buy a phone without head phone jack,NEVER !

This is a classic example of a company capitalizing on the moronic sense of another!
A simple 3.5mm jack which has been around for YEARS, has now been made into one of THE MOST desirable features...
If these companies are so hell bent on USB-C audio, why are they even making adapters and not even making USB-C headphones?
I guess wireless audio would not be preferred by many die to its cost-quality trade-off

No matter what they said don't ever trust this companies...they already lied about not more "T" variant after 3T and yet they release 5T this month...mark my words they will remove the headphone jack on OP6...

One side ditches 3.5mm jack just to gain some press coverege and call it an innovation then the other side gets into elaboration why they've kept the jack, WOW !

This is the innovation we deserved. 2 USB-Cs where one is meant for charging and the other one is meant for music. That is the solution to stop those 3.5mm jack cuckolds cucking every comment.

Why anybody feels the need to discuss it? EVERYONE has a device to plug it in so it makes sense to keep it. No discussion needed.
It should be Apple and others discussing why they turned many times significant investments of their users into incompatible trash.

Funny how in a year or two they will remove it with the argument of "technology moves forward". Like last year google were making fun of apple and the headphone jack with the pixel, and with this one they backed on their own word.
I don't see why Oneplus would fare any better with this trend going forward.
