Just give up Qualcomm. Look at your Q3 earnings and give up. Apple will have a longer breath (because they are rich). You also know that Apple could completely erase Qualcomm directly by releasing their A-Chips to everybody. So better be happy with what you‘ve got, I mean many more companies already gone to the side of apple before, it is just impossible that you would have a benefit from it in the end.

AnonD-594740, 03 Nov 2017It would be stupid to share anything with intel if you (apple) are hiring communication engine... moreYou can't build a modem without stealing patents which Qualcomm has. But yeah it's apple, their Moto is to copy, improvise, call it innovation

                        Orsted, 03 Nov 2017Here we go againhttps://www.androidauthority.com/best-soc-intel-vs-qualcomm-vs-samsung-658684/

The article is a couple of years old, it is essentially a 101 fir SoC
With Apple in dispute with Qualcomm, and determined to manufacture its own GPU, so not relying on Imagination ( who have stated that Apple can't not without breaching its copyright)

I can't help but ti think this is deliberate.
Intel want to break into the mobile market, Apple want a much cheaper SoC from Qualcomm what better way than giving the number one competitor the info it needs

This comes right in the middle, so even if you accept that Apple were only in communications with Intel for Intel to be the future supplier, why would Apple send Intel , Qualcomms technical information

Apple have if true scored an massive own goal
