Not to mention, they cost money or have ads. Most of the apps I've seen out there are really useless to me.

The issues Nokia needed to address were:
a. screen resolution - 640x360 is not what today's mobile users are looking for. with FWVGA nokia seems to be moving in right direction.
b. Usability and practicality of the OS. Android and ios have got more than a million apps put together. Meego will need really long to catch up with them. It still seems a lagging area for Nokia.
c. Dual core processors and finally
d. decent battery.
And lastly, don't act pricey and charge premium for products like SONY then you are guaranteed to be doomed. why would someone experiment with negligible APP STORE of few thousand apps, new OS and on top of the same pay premium for something available for 20-25% lesser by brands like Samsung, HTC, LG etc.

Post your FB status twice as fast? Compose an email message twice as long? Or just to compare e-peen with other gadget collectors? The software on the phone matters much more to me than hardware specs.

why you may say?
because there is no need to make the device more expensive and power consuming if you DON'T NEED those resources. if you put them in just for some teenagers to brag about their dual core phones, then you have a serious problem, don't you think?

Theres some informations missing, does it have USB OTG?? if its a developer devico it MUST have a MicroSD expansion, so developers can make backups and do stuff like in n900, wheres HDMI? i didnt payd attention but does it have a homescreen for widgets? or i must use an application like SPB mobile shell ou voyager homescreen??
Im not disapointed, but theres some stuff thats missing in this picture =/

looks waaaay better than the N9, color is awesome, and the design is nicer, and the meego community will deal with the software, there is no doubt about that. great!

after all this time waiting for a upgrade from the best phone i ever used (N900) i now find out that its not going to be release to consumer?????? NOT HAPPY!!!
I want qwerty keyboard otherwise i may try N9... damn it!! i want N950!

Nokia has to realize that, this is the era of dual core powerphones. u cant the the top without making a phone like samsung, motorola or those other brands are doing. come on nokia ! you have everything to do it !!

will be a hard way to get the top again for nokia. but, for all of us (nokia fans) maybe its easy how to get it. we claim, great hardware (processor, ram, chipset, camera, screen) excellent os, and the most important thing, give full support to the system forever, like apple did. meego can become the weapon to beat all that. go nokia !
