I get the sonic phone manual from http://www.manual-free.com/huawei/514.html, share to you.
Been using it for 2 weeks++. It's a great phone that offers the same functionality with other android phone but cost 1/2 the price. Even though with a 600MHz processor and 256 ram, it still runs great on any apps installed (games for instance, of course).. So far, Huawei does gives a hell out of a phone for such a price.. Love the Sonic since the first time buying it and will continue to support for Huawei device..
NFC is nice for connectivity, but for payment purposes anyone with a reader can steal your info or more. Hackers are always one step ahead with regards to security.
AnonD-10110, 22 Jun 2011with android there is only 1 option. U buy a high end phone (that will get updates) or nothing... moreWhy? This is a nice entry level price with semi-nice specs.
It's great if you're not sure about Android and you just want a quick test of the OS and you don't want to cash out a lot of money.
Android to the masses! :D
It's the Android way! ;)
NFC is useless. The only real use it can have is instant bluetooth pairing. Nobody in his right mind would use their phone instead of a credit card...Besides NFC has lesser range and speed then bluetooth so its really useless.
Oops gsmarena fix the typo. I've checked here http://www.huaweidevice.co.id/webmain/main/product/detail/66/huawei-sonic/2/spesifikasi (Indonesian) it has HVGA screen.
Launch price in australia is A$329. Will replace the Ideos X5 in a number of retailers, don't be surprised to see it at $199 pretty quick though :)
omg...they just copied sammyz application menu UI....what the hell samsung should sue on this hauwai or whatever ur name is u should be shamed about this mate

I mean they still sell Nokia 5230 for 130 EUR so what would you rather have, old Nokia or this phone for 20 EUR more? Just for comparison.
Plus it runs Gingerbread which most of existing low to mid end Android users will never see on existing phones with Froyo.
Btw, VGA resolution for such "low end" phone is quite a lot actually. Remember, that's 640x480, which is quite a lot.
Though camera without flash is sort of a deal breaker. But still, if it's at least auto-focus, that makes it a more interesting option even without flash and just 3,2mpix.
if there are no change of plans,
the SIM free version will be available in Indonesia on July 2011.
wow, that makes it the second android with vga screen
but im sure there a lot of compatible apps for 2 phones lol
with android there is only 1 option. U buy a high end phone (that will get updates) or nothing. So this huawei wont sale.
