Remember beloved she-eps don't push on the input queue. Your iPhone X is your God, if it fails to recognize you wash your face. If it's still fails it's your fault, change your face and don't be so ugly. Remember to buy all available "original" accesories. Put the charger of your phone on an altar in your home.

And remember it's cheap. The next iPhone X Plus or XI will come with extra gestures and something added will cost 350$ more. But we'll give you a special offer accepting your iPhone X in exchange to discount you those 350$ in accesories when you buy the iPhone X Plus or XI.

Thanks for your attention.

Eventually the gestures will become second nature. Still, i can't reconcile the fact that if you buy the x, you're basically buying face id. And face id sucks.

iPhone X Is cool enough but I have a feeling this should be released in 2015. There is no wow factor. The bezels are quite thick too, much thicker than the sides of my 1 and a half year old S7 edge. The magic of the first iphone isn't there. I predict a paradigm shift with the Samsung X foldable. If released next year it will make the iPhone X look like museum piece. this is a crossroads for Apple. The HAVE to release a foldable phone next year or else they will go the way of Nokia. Who would have thought Nokia would fail in early 2007 with the N97 reigning supreme??

Maybe you want to authenticate the people of Carl Sagans Flatland, they can get away with 2D scanning. The rest of us are in 3D and need a 3D face unlock.
Is your face really that flat? Corky, is that you?

BB10 User, 03 Nov 2017Way tooooo complicated..Plus its bot a one handed phone anymoreYea, swipping down had me overly perplexed (honestly it's the only thing one needs to remember, do it enough and it's second nature, all my tablets and phones are gesture enable -via an app- for that simple reason, it's far easier for the brain to do it mechanically).

Just watching the quick demo in the video, and the notch being there during normal use, had my left eye twitching...lol. I'm not one to watch movies on my phone though. I play games on it , yes. And I'm pretty sure the notch won't be there on the iPhone X during gameplay.

It's an awesome phone man, just not for me.

On Android face unlock is fast and simple. On LG V30 or Note 8, It just go straight to home screen without press any button. Here on iPhone X press button + raise up to look at + wait for lock icon to turn unlock + then swipe up to go to home screen. Oh my! too many steps lol

Other aspects of the screen eliminate some of the situations in which the notch could be egregious.

Personally, I would be most bothered by the notch if I was watching a movie or TV show on my phone, and it was cutting into the picture. In fact, I would consider that outright unacceptable. But consider the aspect ratio and the OLED display. In landscape mode, the screen is wider than any current TV or film aspect ratio. Even the 2.40:1 aspect ratio leaves letterbox borders on the sides that are big enough to encompass the entire notch; the more common 16:9 aspect ratio is even narrower.

That means that unless youÂÂ’re the sort of person who leaves the image zoomed in to fill the screen, thereby cutting off part of the image already (shame on you, say the film buffs of the world), the notch never cuts into the picture."

2 min part is funny where they say that you don't actually need to raise your phone next to your face. I think people does that because they think face ID works like those crappy Android face recognition phones, where you exactly need to that, raise your phone next to your face, which looks ridiculous

I think they must add the word "iPhobia" to dictionary.
Why so much hate, if you won't buy it, it's fine but don't tell others not to, it's their choice.
