It's ugly regardless whether if it has notch or not.
AnonD-1825, 04 Nov 2017This phone is closest to perfection. When you hold the phone you feel right away it's very ... morewonderful statement coming from an apple fanboy. Slow clap !!
[deleted post]You're the same type of person who would comment that the author wasn't critical enough on some Samsung or other company than apple phone.
This phone is closest to perfection.
When you hold the phone you feel right away it's very premiun, it's so well made and has so much tech inside and yet the phone is very compact.
Ugly
[deleted post]A review should be critical and impartial, not a set of ramblings and licks at Apple like you would.
"we know Apple is the best Smart phone in the world" -> HAHAHA We? Speak for yourself and do not put others in your affirmations. I do not agree, I do not have that knowledge and therefore that phrase is already false.
"Shamesung I mean Samsung device" -> said the "Hater" writing about the haters ...
This phone is better than I expected.

The dual gesture for Control center and notifications is nice thing. If I want to use quick actions, dont need to look up notifications.
In Android, I have to swipe twice to get the expanded quick actions. Thats not quick. I have always thought that if there were 2 seperate trays for Notifications and quick actions then only single swipe would be enough.
and remembering these 2 gestures dont take that much time
To whoever said iPhone X is the new trend;
"...Facial recognition does seem to work on most occasions, including when wearing sunglasses. On the other hand, unlocking the phone requires waking it up, presenting your face, and then swiping - by the time we're on the homescreen on the X, we could've typed in gsmarena.com in Safari on the 8 Plus."
Useless feature.
top notch with the top price..
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2017Up since a few minutes and already so many hate comments. Have you guys nothing else to do in ... morethere are like 2 comments before you... if that's how you define "too many" and you're still defending apple, then you should probably go and reevaluate your life instead of telling people
off...
This actually Sounds a lot like old win8 charms. You did have to remember what option was hidden in each corner of the screen. It was not liked feature when it was anounced and released, but maybe now the time is ripe to it...
All in all good phone again. Just the ui remains to be seeing if it is as user friendly as the old one in 5he previous models.

"On the other hand, unlocking the phone requires waking it up, presenting your face, and then swiping"
Or you can just use raise to wake and swipe up right away when the screen goes on. There's no need to wait anything, i mean you don't have to wait the lock icon to show the unlock animation.

The iphone looks lot like the Samsung except smaller and an annoying notch and no headphone jack.
So the 1: 1000000 ratio of fails is only in the Apple's Pinocchios Heads. More frequent that they said LOL. And you must swipe too? What a mess. And add the "intuitive" Control Center / Notifications. Strange way to be called innovation or improvement. Is not it more to defunctionality? Less practical or intuitive?
