Not a fan or Apple by any means (some of their fans can be annoying too), but I feel like this ad is a bit late. If they only came out with the 8 this year, then yeah...

There's no need of using Apple and their iPhone as an antagonist on their video; competition in the smartphone is more than just Samsung and Apple. If they really want to make people grow up, they themselves should do the right thing to spread it, and sorry but making fun of its competitor isn't the right thing to do.
Because if one is going to be making fun of the others, he/she/it/they himself/herself/itself/themselves should be without his/her/its/their own flaw/s.
Samsung has no right to be doing this, knowing Apple never did the same thing as when they experienced an even more disastrous trouble *ehem 7 ehem battery ehem fire.*

AnonD-392500, 06 Nov 2017Too much hateOr you could say that what I have said is out of the truth from my heart and mouth, without any influence or affection of hate.
The true hater here is the one that denies the wrong doings and attitude of someone or something, especially Samsung in the competition.

The people at Samsung making these videos aren't exactly the same people who's in charge on the Samsung Experience UX. And if we look at the Note8, I can say they already did a great job improving their skinned OS.
And it's not "making fun of their competitors". It's more like "spreading the truth". Only that last bit on the notch-haircut guy is when Samsung making fun at Apple :D
Anonymous, 06 Nov 2017One Question: If both of them are dropped from the same height, which one cracked? Most tests say the note 8 will survive however due to the inconsistency of drop tests it is really hard to say which one is more shock resistant just by dropping them
There's nothing really wrong with iPhones. They just cater some people very well. iOS has its merits and even the iPhone hardware might have appeal to many people who are buying the phones. What I totally agree on with Samsung in this ad is the stupidity ( Evilness ? ) Of removing the 3.5mm jack. For people who have always used Bluetooth for audio or are looking forward to using it this isn't a problem but for the rest of us it is. Also for all of those who say that the 3.5mm jack is old and should be phased out I'd just say that despite being old it still manages to deliver the best audio output with convenience. Having the jack isn't gonna hurt someone who uses Bluetooth exclusively. And the excuses that companies come up with to remove the jack are pretty flat when you see the most feature packed phones this year like the G6,S8,Note 8,V30 etc. Retaining the jack.
Also its sad to see companies other than apple killing the jack. Xiaomi in particular has annoyed me very much I use a redmi and actually wanted to get the mi mix 2 but the lack of jack really irks me. (Decided to go another year with this phone actually :D ) Apple fans please don't be offended by this comment I completely understand when you say why iOS is the best or why you like a particular quality of Apple's devices it's because it matches your preference and actually carries some value to you but when something as useful as the poor jack is being killed don't defend apple because they are Apple.
I love this. Say what you want, this ad is genius. And it's being published on the same week as the iPhone X being released too.
They missed out the Note 7 setting fire to houses, planes and cars! One feature Apple doesn’t want!
Anonymous, 06 Nov 2017One Question: If both of them are dropped from the same height, which one cracked?so many Youtubers already tested both phones, Note is much much more survival than any iPhone"with most durable glass on smartphones(another Apple's lie)". iPhone X breaks even from a drop less than 50cm and Note could survive many drops over 1.5Meter. just watch Phonebuff or jerryrigeveything and etc... .
I must say, that top notch haircut was pretty funny.
Other than that i don't like ads where company shames another company.
I know "everyone" does it, like Apple with their "Hi i am Mac and i am PC", still it doesn't make it less ... pathetic.
Now its time for Nokia to make a video add !
Make fun of both of them (Sam & App).
Not sure what to say, they missed EU by 2 years/gens, guess where went phablet fanboys in that time...
This is exactly the reason why I’ll never buy a Samsung phone. You wanna promote your own product, focus on what it can do and what you have. Don’t drag others into the picture. You can do better than this. And this is rather shameless.
Growing up is the act of not making fun of their competitors, instead focusing mainly on creating high quality and innovative products instead of wasting time and effort on such nonsense. I would've appreciated it more if they consumed their time making this useless video at optimizing and polishing their TouchWiz/GraceUX/Samsung Experience whatthef*k*ngever they call it, with less bloats and remove all unnecessary features that almost no one will ever use in reality.
Not saying you should go stock, but if you really want to customize Android your way, at least make it usable.
This ad was fantastic. Just
