I want yo... moreYeah, Apple has decided to adopt JDI's Full active Lcd for most of Iphone X in 2018. So the shift from oled to lcd is a strange move made by Apple. Jdi claim that the Full Active Lcd has some advantages that matches or exceed the oled.

Why praise Apple when they did nothing? Why not praise the R&D lab that actually does the work.

So the iPhone X display is CONSIDERABLY better than the mobile display, monitor, TV or UHD TV that you have."
        Is it clear now?

Good news for apple. However, in real world usage, the iphone x display from samsung is indistinguishable from the note8/s8+

Random Guy Passing, 07 Nov 2017The related article section pointed me to "Samsung S8 has best display ever by DisplayMate" an... moreThey were paid off by apple. And everyone thought they were legit until this article.
And some people will then tell you that the note8 only reaches 1200 nits with a small part of the screen lit white so that's why at full screen brightness the iPhone is brighter.
But even in normal full screen brightness the note8 still gets way brighter

AnonD-274309, 07 Nov 2017The Note 8 has 1200 nits in max. Autobrightness. IPhone X 800 nits. Source is Displaymate..The difference is that iPhone x has higher full screen brightness while Samsung reaches above 1000 nits on certain parts of the screen.

Apple has better color accuracy and maybe a bit brighter but at the expanse of lower resolution and smaller screen
