The problem with using massive resolutions is, as mentioned before, you need more graphics power. Mobile devices until now could create great looking graphics due to their low total pixel count (compared to computers). The next iPad's going to need some serious graphics power if it's going to run games at that resolution!

HDTV with apps and other air's hmmm I think someone have made smart TV before ....

I'd like to see what kind of gaming performance the ipad can muster at that resolution, considering that 1920x1200 gaming on a PC requires a GPU drawing 150+ watts alone.
