Anonym, 08 Nov 2017That's strange, because in Portugal I can get it just fine at little over 400 Eur in HonorBuy ... morethat might be the case right now. back in july there were no warehouses in europe. Even the stores of xiaomi sold them at 600e in portugal. Xiaomi recently opened a warehouse in spain and another eu country. But i went with the oneplus instead because i was in need of a new phone. I might consider opting for the xiaomi Mi7 next year if there's no taxes

Anonym, 07 Nov 2017At this price-point we have to accept greater compromises (than, let's say, a $500+ OP5/T).
L... morethat much cheaper? try and buy a Mi6 in europe. Here in portugal it costs 620e.
because of the import tax and goverment tax.import tax is 30% of the full device price and another 23% govermental tax. a 400$ device quickly turns into a 600$ device.
While oneplus has a warehouse in europe all those taxes are cancelled.
I heard Xiaomi will open a warehouse in spain, i hope finally we can order it from there instead of china
AnonD-692471, 07 Nov 2017No jack, no band 20, no microSD. Too many compromises. Except lack of band 20, almost same cons like iPhone and pixel phones
Not interested as long as they keep using their knockoff iOS skin.
AnonD-696124, 07 Nov 2017And not only, it lacks a headphone jack, it lacks a higher screen. it lacks a bezeless screen ... moreAt this price-point we have to accept greater compromises (than, let's say, a $500+ OP5/T).
Lacking band 20 is the same as not having LTE at all in many countries, which is an unacceptable compromise (unlike the screen, which does work, or the lack of 3.5mm jack which does work with an adapter, USB-C or just Bluetooth -- ideal? maybe not, but it's THAT much cheaper)
Anonym, 07 Nov 2017Xiaomi what you need is band 20, that's what's missing from your Mi 6 (for international users). And not only, it lacks a headphone jack, it lacks a higher screen. it lacks a bezeless screen too. I won't complain about not using Amoled screen. I was a long time user of a Nexus 5 with a IPS+ LCD screen and now i'm owning a oneplus 5 with an amoled screen.
There is no favourite to me.
I loved the LCD true colours but hated the screen bleeding. I love the amoled vibrant colours and deep blacks but i hate RGB isn't quite there.
Lol, these companies. Instead of doing better they are doing worse.
Instead of offering us a bigger screen, a higher body/screen ratio, higher Ram,...
Look at Oneplus. Already going for a bezelless screen with 8GB of Ram. That's a true flagship right there. If you have a choice between 4GB and 6GB with the difference of 20$, ofc i would go for the 6GB.
Xiaomi come on...
or they launch it with even more cheaper with the same camera sensor and setup....but with low end processor of Snapdragon 660
it will be better if the launch a mi note 3 lite variant
5.2 inch screen and 4gb ram at the price tag of 270$ it will burn the market
Please release this in India. This is a very cheap and solid phone. Winning combination for India
