Iphone top sensors are ugly. And xiomi still copied it... I bought the 8 plus instead. No big difference from iphone x. I think the best phone will be the same design on mi6 but with lesser bezzels and bigger screen on a slightly bigger body.... I love the xiaomi mi 6 design..the iphone feels heavy on the hand.. While the mi6 feels light....

Alright, time for an actual challenge. The notch saves space in the middle where there isn't going to be anything anyways. There just isn't any notification logos there. As for videos, tell me where there is content specifically designed for 2:1? And also, what phones do you expect to be the standard design; Galaxy S8? One of the worst flagships you can buy? The Xperia XZ1 Compact is the best package outside the small size; the iPhone X runs much smoother; LG V30 has a DAC when you buy the special edition or something similar; the Google Pixel has a much better camera and smooth software experience; Chinese phones

Both are useless. Premature release of a product before the world being ready for it is not something to be celebrated, it is something to be bashed, for one has misread the trends of the world.
Xiaomi released bezeless at the exact right time. We had reached critical size with the latest phablets and the world was just about ready for smaller devices. Obviously they wouldn't be seperated from their beloved (large) screens , so Xiaomi's solution was to offer them both a large screen and a relatively compact body.
Yes, sharp did it before but nobody cared. Because (A) it was only released in Japan, (B) they didn't believe in it (they switched back to bezeled phones after a while, (C) The world was not ready.
Sharp is often bad-mouthed for creating the first bezeless phones yet was not able to turn it into a trend, and not only that but in 2016 reverted to the heavily bezeled look. Sharp is the antithesis of Xiaomi, one is innovative, the other is premature...

the classic mi mix designchoice is the better option imho. If you need a selfie cam just turn the phone upside-down, whats the problem?
