Have it 6 weeks now and love it.
XZ1 compact must be launch in india.
AnonD-392500, 11 Nov 2017Read my comment again. You don't get my point.Sorry, I see what you meant. My apologies for jumping to incorrect conclusions.
I am just so used to seeing the spec fans on here always wanting "more" even at the detriment of the end design.
I got one yesterday and overall pleased with it. There are a few annoyances with the software like not being able to remove nfc icon from status bar, and missing a few features like ambient display and blue light filter. But minor annoyances to finally have a truly one handed phone.
Daany, 09 Nov 2017Wow... Quite incredible there for you to see the 7 pixel difference from XZ1C to Iphone 8. Now... moreIt shouldn't be more expensive 1080p has been the standard for a while now and Sony should've included it this time around for their compact models and increased the battery capacity instead, then it'd be worth the money...kinda lol
AnonD-392500, 09 Nov 2017720p is JUST ENOUGH for 4.6" phone. 480p screen on this phone will be a disaster. You can't be serious.
Unless you are using a magnifying glass every time you are viewing your phone, you couldn't tell the difference between 450ppi and something higher, except when your battery is fading that much faster.
Great deaL for thus Sony compact!!
People want small phones (in the Jimmy Kimmel video where they fool people into thinking the iPhone 4 is the new iPhone everyone's happy they're making phones that fit in your hand again) but companies don't want to make them because they don't break as easily and small screens don't create addiction to web content
Woah! That's a heavy-handed blue light filter.....
Sony is the first OEM to implement the new security update aside from Google's own phones. Great job sony! Looking forward for their 2018 flagship phones
Ghostwolf, 09 Nov 2017Oh how I wish this would work on Verizon. I would buy it in a heartbeat to replace my LG V20.... moreI agree!
the 720p is super crisp in this phone!
Also the battery life is stellar! I have newer had this long usage time after I get rid of my old "dumb phone" many years ago.
Just hope that next version is a little bit smaller with same size screen or same size and a little bit bigger screen. But really good phone to those who want to have long usage time in their phone!
Zog, 09 Nov 2017I don't have any problem with my 4 year old xperia sp which is about the same size. Problem is... moreThe sp has 1gb of ram, poor battery, camera & measly 8gb storage... how can you not have a problem with it
Anonymous, 09 Nov 2017Nope still too high for a 720p phone, Sony just loves milking people until they have no choice... moreWow... Quite incredible there for you to see the 7 pixel difference from XZ1C to Iphone 8. Now I wish I have your eyes. Oh BTW, how much more do you think we should pay for the extra 7 pixels?

Have had enough of monster sized phones just to get good specs. Want a 4.5 to 5 inch phone with these top specs.
And 720p is more than enough on a 4.5 to 5 inch display. Any more is just wasting battery.
Zog, 09 Nov 2017I don't have any problem with my 4 year old xperia sp which is about the same size. Problem is... morei too already have a Xperia SP some years ago, theyr size is aceptable and hold it was not difficult like in the days where big screens dominate!
Miss the old LED's playing at music bass. :(
No other brand put it and Sony forget about it.
