Its surely a result of water proofing. I can't imagine anything else.
There's probably some physical filter that stops water from getting in, and by blowing you're most probably compromising your water resistance rating..
I recommend that you people don't use this method, until Samsung and Google talk on this matter... or try it and post the results for the world, at your own cost.
Note 8 miles superior iPhone X! Never bother these Apple apologist sites keep dishing out anti-Samsung and anti-android fake news! Apple when launches expensive mobiles(70%-80% of their total earnings depend on iPhones) they keep bad mouth other brands by planting such stories! Go ahead buy Note 8 over any iPhone Model
This is such a stupid thing. it's most likely dirt or debri or even moisture that get into the holes, and blowing on it clears it up. It's not a manufacturing defect on Google's Partners or Samsung's part.

This goes to show, phone brand does not matter. They all use the same parts.
In the good old days we used to do the same for all our electronic gadgets. If the Nintendo doesn't recognize the cartridge blow at it, if the cassette player had issues blow at it, if the cd was not recognized just blow. It was a fix it all trick. Now women are using it to fix things.
Lol reminds me of those old catridge for the Nintendo nes you have to blow into get the dust out or something for it to work ,lol XD

I love samsung's sense of nostalgia. Reminds me of the way I used to clean the cartridges of my old family computer console.
