Playing with my S8 by scrolling the app drawer makes me roll my eyes when they say it is smooth. I guess they're referring to no-stuttering or slow downs but animation is never smooth to me.

Why limit it to 120Hz when 144Hz is already an existing tech at least on the latest monitors, that is? 144Hz is yet to reach implementation on mobile displays but who knows. If OEMs push adaptive sync tech on smartphones seriously, they could be upping the rate up to 240Hz instead (or beyond), in no time
zodiacfml, 10 Nov 2017yawn... wake me up when 7nm arrives.hahah...
So no screen fingerprint and no 7nm as bragged about. But ok, Samsung is the new apple.

Hi
Honestly, I prefer Nvidia to QC or Exynos base on ARM's architecture
The other phones powered by SD845 will be faster.
Just like every year
Anonymous, 10 Nov 2017I could only hope this one matches the next Ax chip such that it leaves S845 off the dust and ... moreIt won't happen in the foreseeable future until ARM creates a design that is huge, desktop class chip. To give you rough idea, Apple's chips are as huge and expensive as the Intel Core chips but at lower frequencies/power budget. If they wanted to, they can increase the frequencies of the A chips with no effort at the expense of higher power consumption.
Don't feel bad though. The latest Android SoCs on 10nm are so efficient and powerful that there is little sense in getting more. Android devices should start getting into 120Hz displays to somehow utilize all that computing capability.
Wow nvme is extreme and where I live even a 120 gb sata SSD costs 100$.The shit government wants us to pay for just living here.
10nm not really exciting. By the time SD845 arrives, it probably will be built on 7nm process; not that it's a huge difference, but this Exynos probably won't be any better than this year's SD835.
I know Samsung makes some awesome chips like Lay's, Cheetos, etc. (if you mind my joke) and memory cards, but with their own software, the power is of no use.
Think of it as cars, where every car could only carry up to 10,000 lbs , then Samsung has made a car that could carry 100,000 lbs but paired it with a load of 1,000,000 lbs.
ROFL
Already A11 chip is losing to Current EXYNOS and SD835 Stock Android version. And off I can't stop laugh after seeing iPhoneX lost to Half the price Sony Xperia Z in " Game speed test".Iphone is famous cuz of game loading speed but it's broken by sony. This is the end of iPhone era.Damn I can't imagine what next Exynos and SD 835 will do to A12
Anonymous, 10 Nov 2017I could only hope this one matches the next Ax chip such that it leaves S845 off the dust and ... moreproblem is, apple has huge budget on chip and since every iPhone is guaranteed to sell, they can invest that huge amount of money for the chip while cutting corner on other thing like screen, ram amount, software, headphone jack etc and still have high price tag
imagine an android device to cut on feature for the sake of powerful chip, the price will be questioned and condemned

I could only hope this one matches the next Ax chip such that it leaves S845 off the dust and make S845 look inferior to this
