But like you said, each have ther pros and cons. Nokia as 2k Screen but Oneplus is Oled, Nokia has their own design but OP5T will have smaller bezels.

I wanted to buy 1+5 few months ago,but went for Mi6,paid 370euro for it and it is fantastic..1+5 is still 500+ euro,it is excellent phone too,but price is too high.I'll never be a Sammy boy but you can get S8 on eBay for under 500 euro,so I understand everyone who will prefer S8 over 1+5,it is better phone,fact.Way better display,camera,warranty,support..If 1+5 cost the same as Mi6 I'll buy one,will always give my cash to small(er) company rather than big corporations..

Software seems to be a bit buggy too. Nokia build quality? Nah. It has nothing to do with Nokia. And even if it did, the old Nokia made pretty poor decisions, so it died for a reason.

In op5 you get 4gb ram and 64 gb extra storage and in nokia 2k and ip54,ozo, not a design resembling iPhone , 2 years of updates and Nokia's build quality.

Seriously, for the price of a 1+5 128GB, you could have bought two 1+1 and still have money left to go to McDonald’s (or BK) and buy a menu for you and your girlfriend who you just gave a new phone for birthday.

This phone probably will cost 550 euros ( 640 $), his words means an increased price way. And rarely will has a discount next Black Friday, which is usually the day to burn old stock with offers. We will see a lot of flagships with drop prices that day, when this one will be available. Now, without offer, you can buy a S8 G950F for 547 euros ( 637 $) and the dual SIM G950FD for 570 euros ( 664 $) so say that this cost half than others... is a lie. Half only against iPhone X and Mate 10 Porsche, no more.
And being a R11 clone forget about IP rating, OIS, etc. The increase in price is due to a bigger screen, better selfie camera, and probably few more mAh in the battery. Even I doubt that i'll has expandable storage like the R11, OnePlus was against it in their last models. You must be a big big fan or a big blind to buy this phone. Perhaps they really believe that are like the Apple brand of Android phones... with the flock following them wherever they want to take them.

Because people who buy oneplus phones want pure android and a fast OS. The direct competition for OP5T is the Pixel 2 XL which cost 900+.

it won't be water resistant for one plus 5T, until the one plus 6. One Plus 6 will remove the headphone jack and get minimum IP67 rating. It is the same situation like Xiaomi and Huawei when they are new into water resistant phone, they removed headphone jack and put the IP rating (example: Mi 6, Huawei mate 10 pro).

Stop saying it will cost the same! Message from CEO is pretty clear. Seems a lot of people has problems interpreting it. I'll break it down for you.
"Cost of smartphone components is rising" -> he's showing us a fact, something not debatable. It is rising in fact.
"but phones are also getting better" -> he's showing us that despite the rising of components, Oneplus is making better and better smartphones. Which is also true.
"OnePlus users will appreciate what's coming." -> he's saying we should accept a small increment in price, because of what he said earlier. It's logic working. But despite that small rise, we'll still enjoy it because the small amount of increase in price will justify totally what the new phone is gonna offer. So, we will be pleased.
Period.
