Nokia + Microsoft have too much market share to fail/fall. However, can't help feeling Nokia would have done better to have gone with Android.

you hate android because they were kicking your nokia's ass...... hard.. and android blew symbian out of picture, while their fans are still struggling with it and can't believed that even the company had given up on it..
and believe me on this, android never look symbian as a threat.. their battles are with the apple. nokia choose not to take sides, and google won't offer anything to them because there's a lot of company who would take their os.. that's why nokia choose windows. they were trying to look exclusive and independent at the same time (by not taking sides in this great war). while in my opinion, both are struggling and that's way they had a same interest to get back in the game.
android has it flaws, true, but symbian?? do you serously think that it was perfect??

don't know what to think of this one but
so far i'm a bit worried about those swype gestures on the n9..not sure how's that gonna work with some apps... about the flash support there's always skyfire even if they don't make it for MeeGo it should be able to use the android version... :)
btw... skyfire is available for iOS too if someone wants a flash enabled browser on their iPhone..

Well if you can zoom the pics you can SEE CX where I cant exactly see X is 9 or what but it could be one of the C series of Nokia..not N9

Nokia doesn't need Android, the more... moreIf Microsoft didn't invest money on Nokia, maybe Nokia has been broken some time (as long with too many Nokia stores), they need Microsofts money, Meego don't give a dime to Nokia in investment manners, that's why Meego takes soo long to be on line.....That's why Nokia didn't take Meego as their main OS, and that's why they been out of business if they continue using just Symbian....

Note N900 hardware was 3 yrs old by then and it still worked.
So there is no stopping for Devs to get Android on N9. But Nokia has already made decision not to have android on its phones.
This screen shots seems to be cheap chineese N9 look alike running Android. Chineese are very good at making imitation cheap phones.

Stupid Elop. He's the one bringing Nokia to its downfall. Nokia doesn't need Android, the more they don't need that rubbish Windows Phone. If only the concentrated in Meego and Symbian development, they would certainly be at the top of the game as they always have.

But in the bright side it will be nice see Nokia running Android, if they do this Nokia will rule phone world without any question.
Now users can choose between fav OS. Even they can run Android!
I don't any problem here, any OS has their own pros and cons.
Symbian - Any time user, first time OS
iOS - Multimedia gamer user
WP7 - Enterprise, business, entertainment
Android - Techie, entertainment, any time
Meego - Entertainment, any time
BB - Entertainmen, business
Bada - Techie, entertainmen
Theres others but maybe these ones are the most representative.
From my point of view there's no bad or good OS, only more popular or more useful, but this depends on the eye of the beholder. Theres no 100% good OS (or bad either)

Simply because ANDROID is made by low-end cheap phone makers like Samsung, SE, HTC, now even Chinese companies. There's no innovation in these companies, just "high-specs" with low quality.

I don't know if this is fake or not but one thing's for sure, this is not Nokia N950 because the Nokia Logo of N950 is engraved not painted.. :)
