Most probably we are going to see Nokia Android phones in the stores within 2-3 years. That will be after Nokia realised the total failure of WP7, as there will be no way back to neither Symbian or MeeGo by then.

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2011You are crazy, Nokia missed the greatest chance ever. It would have been the exclusive distrib... moreLOl that would never happen and it is pure nonsense.
Android is meant to be open source and be used by all so no point in a single distributor. And if it ever happened that nokia become the only android distributor I would go for ANY other OS.

Ashura, 24 Jun 2011Cheap phone companies? Are you insane? You call the Xperia Play cheap? You call the Galaxy series... moreFew weeks ago i read an article about a china made iphone replica with android 2.2 froyo in it here on gsmarena... So i can't provide u the link at this moment but it's there....... Personally i'm a nokia fan bcoz of their hardware and customer support but i always prefer good phones. I used android 2.1 and 2.2 many times. All the time i felt it like a messed up os... Everything is scattered all over the UI. I'll b very happy if nokia would develop the meego in future. With ability to use apk. I think it's better for user like me who don't like android UI....

Where did you read that??? Android it's an open platform, they don't say no to anyone!!! It's that what means open! Even cheap dual sim clones are starting to use android as main OS because it's free... and of course, that isn't a bad thing if you want to use the same everybody else is using, I don't.

                              Makes sense.
Nokia had to move from symbian corporation any way.
Meego and windows mobile got many serious issues.

So why not android or ios.

So, nokia is going to become another boring phone on the market. Like already is: HTC, SAMSUNG, LG, S.E. and etc...
All phones gonna have the same body, the same screen, software, apps, specs, so what's the point to argue?

Are they on crack ! They have a prototype device that if released could make them millions of dollars. But, no scrap that, lets release maego and have 5 people buy it . Makes a lot of sense.

If nokia did use Android OS from the begining it would only gain so much trust and popularity and this could have been save totally the entire company's sales! But now with too much experiments wether is MeeGo or Windows or Symbian they look so much lost in space even with this N9 whose specs are already outdated!I will never trust Nokia again!
