The whole world not living in the same temperature. Imagine a metal phone in a super hot country; you cant even touch it. Imagine a glass phone in a super cold country; it will cracked moving from cold outdoor to warm indoor.

oh man i love apple typical feedback regarding their phone issues...
the phone must be operated in ambient temperatures between 0 & 30ish ???...
this reminds me of older iphone models with signal death grip.. they said you hold your phone wrong!

Lapland gets -40c every winter and even the place I live at, we had about -35c for a month straight last winter. So if I owned an iPhone X and got stuck outside, I couldn't even call for help (unless they could actually fix the issue). And yes, all my Androids (even my Galaxy S4 worked!) have worked in that temperature so far. Aluminum-made phones get annoyingly cold, though, but they still work. :-)

If it's a software issue then what does it have to do with AMOLED ? Samsung, oneplus, some Nokia phones have been using AMOLED for the past 6 to 3 years and no widespread issue has ever been reported.
