Hi, i haven't noticed before, but by the N5 pictures the new Anna will use a whole new navigation bar, instead of awful "Contacts" and "Call" buttons. Also, it appears that the interfaces-s top information bar has changed to a separate bar, a clickable one perhaps? I wonder if these are the changes to be expected with the Anna launch in Julu?

N9, N950, N5... Symbian, no Maemo, no Symbian3, no MeeGo, no Windows7. Look, Nokia. Why don't you come out with a high end phone and RELEASE it first before rumors of 10 more units... with varying OS.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2011Yea why is Nokia trying to pull a Android by keeping current phones on older software and rele... moreThere is a simple explanation for it, yet, I doubt you would find the answer yourself, so, let me help you out:

When the older phones shipped out, their OS version was the latest. Unlike some manufacturers on Google's Android, Nokia usually throws the latest version on their phones when they get released. Older phones will get free updates (mostly sooner than later), so, Nokia owners don't have to wait another year or 2 until they get the news if their phone will be receiving the update or not.

Dying OS because of the 2016 deadline. That why i thing that Google android is the clear winner here cause we can put this os on low end mobile.

Did I miss something here? Because I could of sworn I remember Nokia saying the N8 will be the last Nseries to use Symbian.
