When they optimize the software, then we'll talk. The browser in an android phone, for example the GS2, is finally as smooth as my N900. I wonder what use everyone has from that raw power, bragging rights or geek factor? If you want customization and nice use of that power, buy a full linux device.

In fact, brutal fpower is not allways the bes road to make a better phone.
I'm not happy with this since they are in hurry to release powerfull phones, I'm not sure what's affraid Samsung. But is very busy trying to convince people tat power is better than engineering.
I just remember the P4 and Athlon era and then all realize GHz don't make a powerful PC, in phones is almost the same, is the software and hardware conjuction to make a power phone.
Looks like N9 is a better integrated phone with no too much power than Samsungs...but lets see thas will goes on in the near future...

Then just buy the 1.2 and overclock to even 1.5 if you want ;) It's the same chip, just like they decided last minute to overclock from 1ghz to 1.2. And actually it's not overclocking since it's capable until 1.5ghz. More than 1.5 is overclocking ;)

Like how Galaxy S, iPhone 3GS, HTC Desires are still used. You'll never purchasing anything if you keep saying I'm gonna wait another month another month. But if you don't feel that you need an upgrade then wait till you really need one and compare at the options then.

SGSII does everything better and faster for its users than any other phones in the market currently and many other phones that will be arriving in the market.
SGS looked slightly like the iPhone 3G/S but it sure beat them. SGSII doesn't look anything like iPhone 4, and it's better than all phones and will beat most phones coming out in the next 6 months or so.
All you have is to argue with phones that's not even out. You can keep telling me "you'll see when it comes out", ya well, you can talk when it comes out.

samsung by the lawsuit they might have seen the next generation iphone and they are trying to create better phone than the iphone 5 or 4s so maybe the sgs2 will be having the name gt-i9101 because of nfc and maybe they are going to have lcd screen because they did the same for galaxy s1 i9003 for gt-i9000

Samsung is a crazy copyny. How can I buy a product that keeps changing in hardware. Don't be deluded by processor but release products unique to Samsung.

I get 16 hours easy with heavy usage!
And device is gorgeous with a beautyful screen that dominates the front. The back feels and looks premium and the plastic helps keep the weight down and prevents signal death like you get on the iPhone 4 and the HTC Sensation, just by holding them like you normally would a phone ;-)

Hmmm i am sure samsung galaxy sII is failed because that the want use more powerfull 1.4ghz dual core . Samsung stupid stop playing games cheape quailty is cheape :) :)

maybe they have seen the apple iphone 5 and they are trying to beat iphone 5 or 4s and compete it in a better way
