Anonymous, 27 Jun 2011How are you so sure its an overclock and not an entirely different chipset?Because the chipset can clock up to 1.5 ghz easily for mobile devices at 40nm. And I doubt companies would waste resources on producing a completely different SoC with the same CPU and GPU.

I'm not surpirsed. The SGS 2 needs that much power just to be on par with Nokia N9's smoothness. Samsung is so scared of the market disrupting phones Nokia will unleash later this year.

People should quit complaining about the fact that they bought an 'outdated' cell. This simply because you've not. Its just a software mod wich will overclock the CPU to 1.4 And there's more then enough apps wich make you overclock your 1.2 GHZ SII

The question, that once answered would resolve the question over the processor speed, is whether or not it is the same make and model of processor. If it is then this is nothing more than a firmware update and can be applied to older devices via a sofwtare update. If not, then it is differnet hardware so a retrospective update is out of the question.

I agree with all of you that's why samsung copy from Apple the shape and all the other things and that's why Google copy the OS from apple that's all because apple sucks and samsung is so good(I was ironic)...What I mean is that all the copys of apple cant beat apple so for samsung the king of Android keep on traing

                                        Hey Samsung .....

Get your original GSII in the US first and then brag about 1.4GHz. People already getting sensation and I guess they will get the iphone 5 too, simple because they are/will be in the market WAAAAAAAAAAY sooner than your devices. Some can not wait for ever, you know.
