Be Nice To Others, 15 Nov 2017If both HTC and Sony can implement all of their propietary apps and features, skins,.gestures ... moreFirst its their own choice when to update and samsung does alot of beta testing and samsung skin is far more feature filled compared to htc and sony (especially sony) so it takes time and they also have duplicate apps and services (bixby, samsung pay) which htc and sony dont they have to make all those compatible with newer version so that is why it takes longer for samsung to update

Rafe Firmani, 15 Nov 2017No good!! No Bluetooth 5.0!!!!Actually, Bluetooth 5.0 is available to begin with but HTC locks it for the same reason as the 1080p60fps mode. With the patch that was released a few months ago, HTC U11 is now Bluetooth 5.0.
If both HTC and Sony can implement all of their propietary apps and features, skins,.gestures and every other software codes, without really facing any major problem, in under 2 months, how can Samsung can't?
No hate or offense though. I like Samsung, but their software isn't really that any different from what Sony and HTC have to offer, so there's no major reason for them not to release updates quickly if not as quick as HTC or Sony.

I currentl... moreAs per the discussion I had with HTC India we can expect it before 30th of this month with October/November months security patch. But yes I am concerned over the security updates as its still is of August.

@HTC_IN, Is there any time frame when its expected to hit our Indian U11 handsets ? I currently have 1.27.400 with Aug. security patch level software. Thanks a bunch for quick release compared to my S8. Nokia 8 where you are with Beta ?? Is it still in your labs ?
