ok all the guys here comment are right because more mega pixel give quality but a faster sensor give better quality.
BTW n8 whit its 12 mega pixel camera in the real world is worser than n9 whit an new 8 mega pixel camera.

Thug Nokia, 28 Jun 2011This all is bullshit. The same thing happened when N96 launched after huge success of N95. B... moreN9 can't be called as a successor to N8 as OS of those two phones are based upon completely different platforms. Anyways N9 looks promising enough without any ambiguity.

mun, 28 Jun 2011N8 design is good but camera 12.0 Bad. no quality. clarity photosn8'camera bad?? i've compared n8 with 3 compact cameras panasonic,fuji,sony with 12 mp in 3 modes: sunny day,night with flash and interior with artificial neon light. n8 was better than fuji and panasonic lumix in all situations, especially better sharpness at the left and right limits of the photo. n8 is identical or even better than a compact photo camera. you are blind

The same thing happened when N96 launched after huge success of N95.
But N96 had lower GHz,Battery,GPU & more price.
They just launch a high profit model as a successor of a popular model to fool people.

It's a good, understandable choice to focus on a single OS. Look what happened to the older Windows Mobile phones that ran alongside the Symbians, they eventually vanished.
That is not to say we will not see more Meego devices, though.

For all of you who said Meego is dead because Elop says it isn't going to develope another phone with Meego ! Do you know who are partners in joint venture Meego (Intel, Asus,Amd,Acer,Huawei,LG, Nokia and other less know for manufacturing mobile phones) ? So how can you tell something tipical elop sheep would say or just repeat what Trojan hourse Elop said to people who don't think for them self . Intel announced much more phones tablets from above mentioned manufacturers. I suggest that you first read and then comment. Elop is peorsen who wants to destroy company like Nokia if you don't belive read last 4 articels about what he said about Symbian ,Meego and WP7 .
