Face ID works fine. If two people look the same, of course it's going to fail. That's not a surprise or something we didn't expect, since the thing recognizes your face. If two faces look the same, it'll be bypassed

But it's not the case now under Tim's management. All the "so-called" innovations like, removing 3.5mm phone jack, removing home button and fingerprint scanner are actually creating problem to users. I am thinking what would iPhone X looks like if Steve is still around..

FaceID components is a challenging to build in into a smartphone, the space is so narrow and the benefit is too small, even a well fingerprints scanner can perform perfectly than FaceID, I really don't what is this trends if it create so many problems.
If the FaceID components replace a subwoofer that's must be great for party!

The key question is: whether the fingerprint reader or iris scanner would have failed under the same circumstances. If not, the removing / not providing iris and fingerprint scanner as an option is not the right thing to do on Apple's part.

ethereal, 16 Nov 2017They should have the DNA scanner if they really want to be the most secured! Very senseless comment, they could bring it but DNA isn't secure, DNA matches among family members. And measuring DNA doesn't make sense, they aren't supposed to match if your baby is yours or not.

Apple seems to be on a roll with taking away useful features, in exchange for inferior gimmicks. First with the headphone jack, and now the fingerprint scanner. I prefer to stick with companies that are preserving useful features like Samsung.
