For all the people who have N8 this is almost no upgrade at all. I am running Belle on my n8 right now and it is very smooth. Plus these phones have inferior cameras. My advice to all Nokia fans is to buy N8 instead of these 1GHz phones. You will get better value for your money.

Nokia is dead. Unless it either fully switch to Meego or Android (or even BSD-based like iOS), I will never buy it again. I've been a loyal fan for 7 years until last year. Then came along the Win32.Trojan.Elop .. so long Nokia!

Nokia is falling behind the curve on smartphones and the only way they can recover is to make affordable ones for the masses of India, Thailand, and most Third World countries. It is about time Nokia upgraded to 1GHZ processor. It is long overdue.

If one OS don't have enough apps for make users happy is a failure and this make the developers stop making good software for that plataform...That was a problem for WP7 developers had hard time to program but they start doing good apps in fact some of them are awesome since avery day more pregrammers are joinig Microsoft to program on their OS, iOS give you (as Microsoft) all tools for FREE to make programs for their own OS.., Android has too many people working on it, but Symbian/Meego don't have enough programmers for do more recent software...believe or not games sold phones also, that's why I see no future on Meego and Symbian is getting bad too, no new software, no new apps, and that's is the start of the end in OS Phones...

and what else if they get the same specs wid 1.2 ghz dual core procesor.symbian is not dead only they cn do is make a new and exciting application.symbian is tested since i get nokia phone.i dnt even knw android bcoz its only new.

the only solution face iphone and android is to get the same specs.why is just bcoz the low specs n8 cn much even the other android wid 1 ghz.what else if the same specs.sory im fan of nokia bcoz my phone is nokia.

I don't thing Symbian will change in 1 year that not been change in soo many years...I luve Nokias but the time for Symbian has over...It's time to a more competitive OS if Nokia want fight with iOS and Android, since Symbian is not a challenge for those OS, neither Meego, since has not support even from Linux Community...too sad :(

Well is well know days are counted for Symbian and Meego (Meego is gong die first) and I still waiting for Nokia W Series, I only hope they looks different from the one was "leaked".
I hope Nokia has new looks for their new models, since is time to change the "brick" like design to a more smooth and high quality phones...

That's why I am so happy that Elop is killing Symbian and dropping MeeGo. WP is the way to go and these updates to S^3 is like putting more make up on a pig. Elop is a visionary, a hero, and Nokia's greatest CEO.
