Even an old 8 is better than late 6 according to friend who's kept up a bit more than me lately, as long as you can put up with the power drain..his HTC with an 808 or 810 makes a nice hand warmer apparently !!

Anything with an sd 4 series is to be avoided.
Every device I have tried with an sd4 has been sluggish,suffered stops and it seems to be a very power hungry series of chip,which ever version a device has had in it.
Spend a bit more money for something with a 6 series,as the 5 series seems to be no improvement over the 4,or go for something with a different make of chip..
