AnonD-558092, 18 Nov 2017Old news. The device was launched in stores one/two months ago. It's available in US, Canada, ... moreFunny is that in Brazil has not yet been released, but it already has a support page:
Even the Galaxy Tab Active 2 that has already been released there still does not have a page like that!

Giving $240 for almost half the specs of a $310 tab is IMO highway robbery.
It's a $150 tablet, tops masquarading itself as a low mid-end one (whilst in fact it's a low-low end)...

If you go back to my original first post here, Im saying that you should not compare this low speced tablet with ipad 2017. Tab A is not flagship grade. What was your point anyway? You keep recommending android tablet with higher and higher price. Like, what?! What the purpose of arguing comparing this Galaxy Tab A and ipad 2017 if you keep listing down all the equally expensive flagship tablet?? And you said Samsung overpriced everything after showing me all those expensive tablet? Nice logic man.

And Huawei is very much active on the tablet market with the "Mediapad" line of theirs...
Was your point that Galaxy Tab A is a good deal? Think again.
AnonD-711468, 21 Nov 2017My bad, it's $150 more: https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Official-Global-ROM-Xiaomi-Mi-6-5-15-I... moreLike, duhh. I said specifically 'actively doing tablet'. I know Mi Pad 3 but Xiaomi is not active in tablet market even if they made flagship android tablet. Besides, their tablet is not even as popular as ipad. All your reccommendation is from Xiaomi. Lol. Now, we all know you are Xiaomi bias.

... I think you're the one who's to be informed.
Also Mi Pad 3 for ~$50 more, is twice as good in specs as well.
You should be more thorough on your searches.
AnonD-711468, 20 Nov 2017Yes! You get that kind of specs on phones for just $100 more (mi 6), why not tablets? Oh wait ... more$100??? Get your facts right. Mi6 base model starts at $470 & the ceramic version is nearly $800. Btw, ipad (2017) is cheap for its class because it got no competitor in ios system. Samsung is the only one actively doing tablet market in android world. Show me other brand showing off their flagship android tablet. None.
Luxor, 20 Nov 2017Mind seeing the price tag before comparing it with Apple flagship ipad. This tablet is only $2... moreYes! You get that kind of specs on phones for just $100 more (mi 6), why not tablets? Oh wait , *now* I know, that's because Samsung overprices everything.
Also iPad (2017) is $330 with twice Tab A's specs and a 1000 more tablet optimized tabs... it's a no-brainer really. Another category that Samsung used to lead (Galaxy Note 10.1 - 2014 owner here) that simply gave up to Apple (Apple is killing it on tablets btw)...

This tablet is only $240. You expect what? SD835? 6GB RAM? 128GB internal? Lolololololol. Go worship the ipad if that your kind of thing.

I just been in this place before!
Anonymous, 19 Nov 2017You didn't even try or gave a chance to test bixby. You're not in the position to say that. How you know I don't even try, if I not try I won't said,
I buy Samsung Galaxy S8+ once it release. So long I use S8+, do you think I dunno how Bixby looks like. Did you know now it finally can total disable in latest firmware? Samsung did this because a lot people complain and want this. Just the button cannot map for others function yet but it can be total disable now, from button to home launcher, it can be 100% make it not appear now.
The Bixby is not accurate and slow. It is a big junk Samsung put in after clean up others junk. It is not in level of Google Assistant yet for accuracy and respond. Voice Assistant the best now is Google Assistant, second is Siri, 3rd is Windows Cortana, Bixby is the worst.
I never use? Hahaha! If I never use I won't comment, not like some keyboard warrior only talk but in actual never use it before.
AnonD-434597, 18 Nov 2017bixby is the only assistant i wantSiri is better than bixby, but google or any third-party app is even better
AnonD-52738, 18 Nov 2017Samsung oh Samsung, please throw away your Bixby, it is very bad implement and nobody really use it.You didn't even try or gave a chance to test bixby. You're not in the position to say that.
DirectD My , 18 Nov 2017Urgently calling for 64gb 4gb ram Galaxy Tab A 8/10.1 2018 with S pen at the range of USD 300 ... moreNo hope for that as this one is already in korea.
Back when Tab A 10.1 2016 with Spen (dafuq with this name) launched, international was 2gb ram/16gb internal while korea has 3gb/32gb config.
Samsung oh Samsung, please throw away your Bixby, it is very bad implement and nobody really use it.
Makes me feel even better about my Pixel C purchase for 300 £
bixby is the only assistant i want
