I brought this phone in Tag show room in India.
It looks nice, but the hardware is a major show down.
Its not even a year and its up for another service center issue. earpiece does not work and it buttons are already shaking. can fall out very soon.
On software front, i stopped using all internet applications. i use this as phone. if you use 3g, then 1. battery life is very low, 2. it starts interfering with the phone functions and hang.
Bottom line: After paying huge money , if the product does not live up to its basic purpose : TALK! then is it worth a buy? I think Tag should stick to its core business - watches. For now, I have lost all that money, and service is very pathetic. You can obviously forget any replacements!!

I really like the concept of such a shell for a phone if only the specs were more solid..... *sigh and 5-6 thousand? Its based off the LINK watch not a Grand Carrera yeesh :P

But if i become a rich/millionaire, I will buy it. This phone are made for the rich men and not for those like us.

i think better buy the Chairman by Ulysse Nardin, eventhough it lack some of the durability, it has the class, the new OS( yeah,it's Froyo, but i think its upgreadable, and this OS was very new at that time when the phone was first launched), the features are pretty good! Like the fingerprint sensor, automatic winding on the back for power the phone, an enough memory, etc.
Heuer is known for their precision, but the Ulysse Nardin is well known as the father of watchmaking.
Yeah, Heuer is cool but it has no class

Take a look at your own grammar and just imagine the situation where your grammar and a proper grammar are put together. Amazing difference right? Second. It is an ugly and totally pointless phone. The hardware is abysmall for such a price. Would you pay 5000$ for a 3,5" LCD display, 256MB of RAM and an outdated OS or 700$ for a 4,3" SAMOLED+ display, 1GB of RAM, Gingerbread 2.3.3 and Gorilla glass (I9100)? You don't pay for the hardware here, you pay only for the steel, gold or titanium. But what's the point of paying for materials on a device that becomes technologically obsolete in a blink of an eye? There is no point, at least none that would make any logic sense.

good thing about internet is that i can post my opinion :)
1. gsm arena is a big H... that simply puts what the brands tell them to put... c'mon, this phone is hedious.
2. all of you that can't score chicks, won't be with this phone certanly that you will.
3. avant-guard? probably i should wear some glasses or something, but in my laptop i did not see any avant-guard tech.... and refering the 250000 apps in google market is one fail attempt to show a "fine" feature, because most android devices do that, and they don't refer as "avant-guard" phones...
4. in my opinion, this phone looks like it came from a movie like, alien versus predator... and in this case, would be the predator using it to make some calls.... lol

D79_, 30 Jun 2011That is some ugly phone, its basically the same as any other android phone just woth a difa sh... moreI thought the same before, that it looked ugly, until I held one in my hands. Not the Link above, but the Meridiist which has the same shape.
It's one serious bit of mobile phone I can tell you that. Rubbish price, but man, when you hold one, its quality build. Now, with Android, at least even technology wise, they are semi up to date.
