gotta love that Protective Autolock System, looks so damn nice... the phone itself looks nice too, although heavy, I guess... but you certainly get more value than with any Vertue or other high-class phone... they all just put some diamonds and as much gold/platinum as possible onto their cheaply built sets...

It can barely run android. I'm better with buying a carbon case for my i9000. I mean hot stupid you would have to be to make a 6.7k phone with those specks. At list a super amoled/s lcd screen and 512 Mb of RAM.
With those kind of money you can buy/make a case from titanium or carbon for many modern smart phone.

If you're in for the looks and status, then by all means this is the phone for you.
If you'd rather have a beast under the hood then I would go for SGS II, for the moment.

Hmm a lot of jealousy in this thread, indeed in any luxury phone thread.
I don't want to have an iPhone or a Blackberry, or any phone that a bus driver or a cashier has access to. It seems like any commoner who can "pass" a credit check can have a smart phone.
I don't need my phone to have cutting edge functionality, that's why I have a team of people to perform my tasks for me. If you cannot afford a team of your own, then yes these "smart" phones are probably for you.
I don't want a phone made of cheap plastic or glass. Crocodile leather suits me because it matches my boots and my leather car interior. And it is a great conversation piece.
A lot of working class people who moan on these threads will always lament them as ugly and useless, because they do not have excess income to afford them. This is not a basis on which to pass judgement on the taste of others.

if you have the extra cash i think its a good phone to have. its a nice collection. if your thinking about phones functionality then its not worth it.
