Forgot to list king of all VOOC Flash Charge!
70% in 30 minutes.
Try the Nokia 8 it charges over 60% in 30 mins. Unfair not to include the Nokia 8. And it lasts longer.
NoToBrandLoyalty, 24 Nov 2017Fast charging =/= Dash Charging/SuperCharge
Fast charging usually uses 9V at 2A, which uses... moreMy essential do not heat up when charging.
its do use 5volt 3 amp and is 27 watt.
Charge even faster than one plus as well ( i admit its 3000 mah versus 3300 mah in one plus )
forgot to say its was with screen on..
with screen off i get like 5% more in 30 min.
Essential ph-1 in 30 min go from 1% to 73% lol ok its only 3000 mah but its charge freaking fast...
its do include a 27 watt charger in the box ;)
Anonymous, 24 Nov 2017My s7e & s8+ charging around 40%-50% in half hour with stock adapterMaybe you should make a video showing us that BS you're spouting.

There is no doubt that worst performance is that of the iPhone.
ZloiYuri, 23 Nov 2017Samsung mostly assembling in South Korea.Though the assembling is done in South Korea but the components used in the Samsung phones are also made in China. I hope that answers your query.
i agree!! its about 1% per min.. or sometimes higher...so +30-40% in 30mins... (starting
yeah, that means your battery will worn out faster too
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2017Can I use that oneplus charger with my S8+ to achieve that much charging speed? No brother. not possible

cyber, 23 Nov 2017fast charging will f**k up your baterries no matter what manufacturer says, technology used is... moreFast charging =/= Dash Charging/SuperCharge
Fast charging usually uses 9V at 2A, which uses more voltage rather than current.
Dash Charging/SuperCharge uses 5V at 4A/4.5A, which keeps the voltage low while using more current.
Fast charging creates more heat because: 1. The circuitry is on the phone itself; 2. More voltage creates more heat. Dash Charging/Supercharge doesn't create much heat on the phone because: 1. Prioritizes current over voltage; 2. The circuitry controlling the charging speed is on the charger so the heat doesn't go to the phone.
Why not test it vs Huawei SuperCharge??
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2017Can I use that oneplus charger with my S8+ to achieve that much charging speed? No, because Samsung does not have the software to activate dash charge.
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2017Can I use that oneplus charger with my S8+ to achieve that much charging speed? You cannot use oneplus dash charger to charge samsung. dash charge only works with oneplus cable and charger.
Anonymous, 23 Nov 2017Dash charge is completely different from fast charging. Your statement is false.Correct. Unfortunately many people don't understand how it goes. With the dash charge the heat stays in the charger, keeping a low temperature at the battery; with quickcharge, the heat goes to the charging circuitry in the phone near the battery. The technology is different.

I am using Motorola Droid Turbo from last so many years.
It has 3900 mah battery with fast charging enabled. From the very first day I am using this phone with Turbo charger that came with it.
I never face any heating up issue or the battery degradation. The phones battery still performs just like the day one.
Can I use that oneplus charger with my S8+ to achieve that much charging speed?
