BARGAIN? Are you making a joke, you wanna look at www.o2.co.uk how much they wanna charge for a contract for this phone absolute daylight robbery, The Galaxy s8 and Lg v30 iphone 8 and 7 at www.carphonewarehouse.com are better value on contract and cheaper than the SO CALLED BARGAIN ONEPLUS 5T. I want this phone but due to exclusive deal that only www.o2.co.uk can sell the phone in ENGLAND/UK i wont be getting it as IT'S EXPENSIVE and will go for a more expensive phone that are strangely cheaper on contract.

HDR+ is supported in this mod and for taking pics is better than the original. It's only a matter of time before someone improves it even more.

I wish they could just slam google software(especially HDR+) in OP5T and call it a pixel. Wouldn't even mind paying an extra hundred for it.

dladz, 26 Nov 2017Worthy upgrade ? From any phone besides a oneplus 5. I think Oneplus have taken the proverb... moreTo be honest the leap from the QSD 820/821 to the QSD 835 wasn't big.
However, the leap from the QSD 835 to the QSD 845 is big.
It's a kin to going from the Qualcomm S4 to the S4 Pro, or QSD 600 to the QSD 800.

So while the upgrade from the OnePlus 3 to the OnePlus 3t was small details, all-round, it was a more modest upgrade than the OnePlus 5 to the OnePlus 5t. On top of that, the OnePlus 3t wasn't immediately obsolete with the release of the Xiaomi Mi 6, Samsung S8 and LG V30.

However, the OnePlus 5t will be immediately obsolete by the release of the Xiaomi Mi 7, Samsung S9 and the LG G7* as the only selling point for the OnePlus 5t is "performance" since it doesn't have a great camera, or great speakers, or ingress protection. These newer handsets, even if underclocked and have a "measly" 4GB RAM, will run much faster than the OnePlus 5/5t. That means the OnePlus 5t will become outdated within 3-5 months... it's like buying a Galaxy S in December 2010 when the much better Galaxy SII will be available April 2011.

*depending on LG's release date, it may or may not have the new QSD 845 SoC.

I think Oneplus have taken the proverbial p*ss.

An obsolete phone after five months? Absolutely awful deployment.

OnePlus 6 would be perfect if screen size increased to 6.2" QHD+ OLED. OnePlus 5T is OK but a bit small at the side.

That would have to be an entirely different poll.

OnePlus 5 and 5t.... seem like good deals because the Xiaomi Note 3 Pro (global) successor had a slow SoC, the Nokia 8 was priced much higher than anticipated, there was no ZTE Axon 7 successor, the Pixel 2's have some issues/shortcomings, lack of a cheap/used S7, Note7, and Nexus market, and finally the price-hikes we seen with the flagships Note8, S8 and latest iPhones.

The only competition was from LG's price-cut hardware including the LG V20 and LG G6.

The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3t are still good devices, but they don't matter to the international market because (like the OnePlus One) they lack several radio LTE frequencies that are used in some countries.
