Anonymous, 25 Nov 2017Updates means BUG/Security/Stabilization Fixes and some GIMMICK features, anyway iOS is crap ... moreDon’t compare Apple to billion of Android phones around there’s no comparison Apple has there own OS google sell OS like Nokia before that’s can’t control. I got laste update on my iPad mini 4 11.1.2. No crashes performance improved and mini 4 comes with iPhone 6 hardware yeah overclocked A9. But still works just fine.

This is actually strategic. They sell, make money and would never want to support them further, to do that means to invest a huge amount of money in developing a phone they do not make money with anymore. So instead, they invest the money in the next Generation. Yeah, it is called mockery and labrats are buying them like hotcakes. Everybody is happy.

Newer manufacturers are pushing updates faster than old ones in the game. Maybe this is sign to show Android manufacturers simply do not care about their customers.

I am more and more disappointed with this failed Android One concept. Here we have a new start-up -- HMD -- pushing updates faster and faster while, Google's own project is falling apart. Where is my Oreo update, Google? Nokia even pushed security updates faster than you. I'm starting to think Mi A1 and the whole Android One concept is a joke. And Nokia, good going.
