Who are they deceiving? Who doesn't know that it's an artificial scarcity?

Imaginary demand, Illusionary popularity for a marketing gimmick from Apple.

Only isheep will be foolish enough to believe this nonsense, and thus we have a crappy Apple's isheep popular anthem of "look at their sales, Apple is selling many phones"

A phone that cost lives and costs less than a bed to make. Baaaaaa

Features which have been on android for many years. Baaaaaaaaaaaa

A screen that's flawed and given to you with a massive lie. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Queue up sheep and don't forget your line.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

Its processor does 2500 single score on geekbench (note 8's does 2000). Samsung has seriously dropped the ball on hardware, her 2017 chips can't compete with Apple's 2015 ones... so sad, Samsunng used to be "the hardware company", for example Note 4 was better than all devices of its time in everything, Note 8 can't even beat 2 year old ones...

AnonD-715579, 25 Nov 2017I like how apple approaches product design. They make you crave for new releases even when you... more...you need them.

The bezeless design was long overdue. With phones getting bigger there was a point a company should stay "stop, I will create a big screen without my phkne resembling a tablet".

Also passive unlocking has been the holy grail of security systems since forever. Apple is fullfilling deeply held needs of the people.

If the rest were doing that they would sell as well...

Carol, 25 Nov 2017Actually, the majority that "buy" this phone, are actually taking it on a contract. Apple is s... moreAnd Samsung doesn‘t do that? While we are at it, Apple only releases good phones. The crappy ones are the ones with good looking exterior but low end crap inside with a price of a 1 year old high end phone. A big part of those are Chinese, with iPhone design and software copy, and then people think „wow this is a bargain“ while it is actually a phone with 5 times worse hard- and software at 70% of the price of the real deal. Brands of these phones are oppo and vivo and all those you know. And Samsung also does this, with their Galaxy A. And even though that is bound to change with the 2018 series, there is still Galaxy J, C, On and all those. So those are the real „crappy“ phones. Then also, people can decide when their contract ends, by saying when the contract starts. If they do it in October, they can get the newest iPhone or Galaxy Note or Pixel. In Spring, they get the Galaxy S. In early summer, they get the HTC. And if they don‘t care, they can always have a new Xperia XZ series.

Then it also means his comment makes no sense. But because you said his makes sense, you are just a die-hard fandroid. Disgusting

Rayne, 25 Nov 2017Just looking at the price that people are willing to spend $1000 on a smartphone in late 2017,... moreActually, the majority that "buy" this phone, are actually taking it on a contract. Apple is smart, they release crappy phones every time their customers are at the end of their 2 years contracts. Welcome to capitalism!

Just looking at the price that people are willing to spend $1000 on a smartphone in late 2017, I really believe came 2020 the average price of a flagship phone should be $5000.
