It's like car manufacturer saying "Well yea the car doesn't have stereo system, but this allowed us to put this nice big engine instead".
The 3.5mm jack has nothing to do with the battery. It's not on the back or in the middle of the phone. And there already is a DAC, so no additional space is needed. Plus, he basically said "Well everyone does it nowadays, so that's why we did it too, get over it". And you still don't get it?

The managers of the smartphones companies, will keep throw to our faces CHEAP excuses about the lack of removable batteries, the lack of 3,5 mm jack and who knows what else in the future. The simple truth is that they want the consumers to pay for unneeded accessories. They should be ASHAMED, but they just don't care !

Still Jack is must for best headphones, no need to worry you need to charge your audio equipment, anyway, phone is a failure, next year flagships with new chipsets will makes this phone absolute in no time, definitely not a gaming phone, which can't last even few months without being best. Same happen with Xperia Play, hardware so badly outdated, but it had physical buttons and exclusives, after all Razer does not have any of those, so it is definitely a failure

I was considering buying it (Not for gaming) because of the great speakers and big battery. But of course having no 3.5mm jack makes it worthless and i would't want to have it even for free. And considering the poor screen and battery (On a gaming device lol. So they fail at 3 of 5 important aspects for a gaming phone), i wouldn't buy it even if it did have the jack.
