Yeah, only a few phones so far are getting the support, but still.

But no. People would still find the tiniest flaws no matter what. They want fast updates, but they don't want Sony to do it because Sony has beaten their beloved brand.

There is a patent from Sony of a very advanced OIS system for 2018 Xperia flagships.
More effective than current OIS.
It will even have a trademark name...
Trust me, the next Premium is being made to beat even Note 9
After the repetitive massive destructions of Android reputation by Samsung through the years, good to see some companies like Sony reviving it, Google owe Sony a lot.
The same age phone which one get oreo? Have somebody know?
AnonD-705970, 27 Nov 2017Tebble only phone start whith Oreo, Sony phones no need tebble, first in updatesYeah, all phones that are released with Oreo indeed support Trebble by default. But manufacturers have the ability to bring Treble-support for their older phones if they want to. Huawei and couple of others will. Mate 9 was proven to be able to boot a stock AOSP Android 8.0 ROM as witnessed on that YouTube-video. Every smart manufacturer needs Treble for their older flagships too, as it makes the OS-update process way faster. Making people buy a new phone surely means more money, though.
Here's the list of phones that will get Treble with Oreo-update:

Uh, I thought Sony was going to introduce Treble-support with their Oreo-updates? I know my phone (another manufacturer, though; Huawei's Mate 9) gets Treble, but I thought Sony was supposed to bring Treble-support too? Or is it for some other model, other than this one?
