its interesting, and kinda crazy to me that how people suddenly start buying iphones when a newer one is on its way (whic will be newer and better and causes a price fall for the current iphone) and while there are LOTS of hot androids available already..

I'm in a frustrating peripheral support role for the iPhone. The product is fine and delivers a consistently good (not fantastic) user experience.
Leaving aside the iSheeple fan-base and looking at the device from a purely objective standpoint the user experience is finished and satisfying within the defined requirements which covers a wide swath of functionality. Simply put, even factoring in normal technical issues, it works.
Now on other hand the Apple corporate infrastructure is in a race with Google (and to a surprisingly lesser degree, Microsoft) to the bottom.
For the foreseeable future the iPhone will remain a device firmly ensconced in a socio-ideological vertical metro population governed slot for socioeconomic reasons.
Our in other words the iSheeple have been domesticated to where they enjoy being slaughtered for profit.

Gaming alone is pushing iOS against android. More uniformity in hardware provides a better landscape for developers to fine tune their games making iOS a much better platform.
WP7 market share will be brought up by Nokia, which will have a halo effect on the other hardware manufactures.
2012 will be interesting for smartphones.

why iphone one word try it first amazing UI so smooth but it's not for every one if u want an easy UI with lots of aaps & amazing internet browsing so it's iphone i thing it's made to make u (the iphone owner or user ) happy that's it so simple & easy.

Just remember market in the US is total different from Europe, Asia and others...
People from US spend too much money in gadgets, in fact the strongest economy part cames from them and all the companies targets is US Market. SO is not impressive this from Apple.
US people loves their Apple devices more than any Samsung, Nokia, LG, etc...that's they way they are. For them has an Apple gadget is like...cool you are Apple!! Now you are someone :P00
I like iPhone, but I will never get another since I found in other gadgets more satisfaction...However too many people I know use something from them..iMac, iPad, iPod, iBook you name it. And is not for beign more powerfull or upgradable because Apple devices AREN'T..is just because is Apple itself.

Apple has a very strong presence on US, and that's AMAZING for just one brand...and they need only US and Americas for stay online and receive the profits they need to still in business...
Android can be more used but android is an too many devices (Samsung, Motorola, LG, Huawei, Alcatel, etc.) BUT Apple is just in Apple devices and that's impressive how a single brand can have this kind of impact on economy and social..

They don't care if they are fast, if they has expansion, nothing they pay for it....and mucho money...for have this device...
Even en eBay and others you will find very expensive prices for used/preowned iPhones and can just duuble any other brand price...

let me tell u guys something.am from africa(ghana) and in my country the most popular smartphones are iphones,nokia and blackberry.nokia is almost evrywhere cos its cheap and everyone kan afford it.blackberry is for fushion and the iphone is for the rich.most students want an iphone but they simple cant afford it cos its de most expensive smartphone in my country.pple save money to buy it lately cos they have come to see how much stable the os is.ios just works n pple r seeing it not only the us.

Before buying an iPhone, its imp one knows the drawbacks.
Battery not user changeable, memory not expandable, no FM tuner, no Blue tooth transfer, cannot connect to PC in USB mode.
Not Repairable-U get refurbished/recycled replacement.
Even a slight accidental damage-you have to throw it away or pay exchange price which is close to a new unit.
Accidental damages as per apple: Even the tiniest of water droplet touching the phones litmus placed near port & 3.5 ph jack changes colour.
The Tiniest Crack, Cracked display, Cristal stuck inside 3.5 music jack. ANy of these and U can think of throwing unit away.
OMG, This is so Crazy.
These facts made run from it. Run from this Crazy company called Apple.

i am not saying android is incapable to handle tasks or something like that .
android phones which work good equal to iPhone cost high $$$ same as iphone .
problem is android devices get outdated every now and then .
just 6 months back i heard lot about agalaxy s and now ? optimus , galaxy-s2 etc etc.
if u consider iphones then 3GS is still best selling phone after to iphone 4 .
difference between 3gs and 4 sales are less than half million .
2nd birthday for 3GS and still it supports every single app and every single update flawlessly not even single lag . (iOS3 iOS4 iOS5)
consider phones of 2009 other than 3GS. almost every forum talking about unstable galaxy s phone and unable to handle the phone smooth .
and same with droid or n900.
motorola ceo himself blames android for unstability.
androids need like 1GB Ram or like 2 GHz processor to work to handle tasks well but poor battery even with 1 Ghz processor and on other hand macs and iphones dont need that much power so they give much better stability,battery and performance .
4 inch screen = bigger battery
3.5 inch = small battery
