If somebody wants that prototype and don't have money for that just search for the sellers address and stole the iphone! Is that simple! I think that prototype is the same with the gizmodo's last year prototype ( it's nothing changed, no bigger screen, no other camera, etc. last year when gizmodo sows-out the leaked prototype of iphone 4, that was the iphone 4 not a 3gs prototype!!! )

huh check the bedding history the same guys bids 8 times from 90k to 600k and there is a mistake where it shows the 999,999, is made at 24minutes but the previous bids are 27minutes

I like my iPhones but this is just insane. Whoever bidded this much for an iPhone which cant be used or anything, has either got more money than common sense or is just plain mad/stupid. I wouldnt even pay $50 for this!
iPhones are excellent but paying the same amount as an exclusive mansion with a swimming pool just dont make sense.
