The screenshot doesn't say the phone is bezel-less.
And the dimensions are exactly the same as the XZ1. So either the bezels are still big, or this is an 18:9 screen ratio. Personally It's not a ZL successor until the bezels small, screen large, and BODY SMALL. The ZL was only 131.6MM in length. That's why the bezels were small. This leak says 149MM. This is still a very tall phone.

Just read Qualcomm SD845 SoC isn't producted by Samsung but instead by TSMC in another article, then why is Sony releasing it's next Xperia XZ Premium successor with SD835 chipset then? Is it because Samsung also releases it's next flagship with it's own Exynos 9810 an equivilent to SD845? I don't think Sony is in direct competition with Samsung on who outs their flagship first like the rivalry with LG, or is Samsung hoarding all the new chips again?

I can see no justification for an upgrade to this Sony XZP successor because of "bezelless" while everything else stayed the same even the SD SoC, such "negligible" improvement is not worth Sony's efford to release it.

'bezeless' is nothing 'high-tech' but a way of keeping the price and demand of unsurprising and uninspiring 'technologies (actually marketing)'. Tho it worked well, most of ppl don't know what's behind, neither can they think independently.
