This is going to be a Galaxy S8 copy. 18:9 screen. long slim body.
This is not going to be an evolution of Sony's own design spirit starting with the Z.
My wish is for a slim bezel, 80% screen ratio. 16:9 5.2" screen. Under 135mm in length.
Dual SIM with dedicated SD slot
Doesn't need to be super thin.
Basically all I want is a dual Sim updated version of the old ZL.
But we are not going to get that. Clearly Sony can't make a phone with slim bezels and short length. Just look at every phone since the X series to now. Phone gets longer, bezels larger. If I want a phablet I'll get a Galaxy Note. But Sony's flagship is approaching that size.
I don't want a phone that is 150mm long with a 18:9 screen. I want a phone thats 135mm long with a 16:9 screen.
And don't point towards the compacts either. Because they aren't dual sim. Have non-1080 screens. And have smaller 4.6" screens.
Sony give me a flagship with a small footprint and a 5.2"-5.5" 16;9 screen and slim bezels. Don't copy Samsung with long phones and long screens to make the phone look smaller.

And while I wish all current Sony phones had a dual SIM and dedicated SD slot, that hasn't been in a Sony flagship since the Z5 Dual. None of the Sony flagships have had dual Sim with dedicated SD slot since the Z5. But it would be great to see it come back.

I hope it comes with dual cameras, they should make at least one version with dual cameras, even Motorola has it, no offense to sony fans but they dissapointed many of us with their phones since the Z3 came out. This is the last chance for they to comeback. or else i'll go for Huawei new mate 10 series, which looks very promising

Wanted to buy xz premium, but I will wait till this beauty came out. Writting on my three years old Z2. Still runs very smooth, like a butter and the battery like the first day. Love you Sony.

My friend has Xperia Z2 even though he is not using it anymore, he gave it to me for battery replacement, and he bought it when it was released, that phone is still lag free. I had one Xperia Z1 that i got from friend, i needed to bring it back from dead (i needed to replace aluminum frame, screen, back, power button flex cable) and after i turned it on, it was so smooth. I couldnt believe that. From that day my respect for Sony grew even more. As for the looks, i dont like that their phones have 90 degrees angle on corners, it kinda stubs my hands and isnt comfortable to hold. The other thing that i dont like is UI, but i guess i could get used to it.

The only reason sony flagships have IP68 is to throw into water when it be... moredont know what your on about with the heating that was only the z5 series and it was the snapdragon 810 that was the issue any phone that had it had those issues sony are really well built and unlike others havent followed a trend just to be like everyone else no if it says they have a 5'7 inch screen and finally will go bezeless then its more likely going to be more hand friendly kinda like the lg g5 was

People in their mobils division is clearly not competitive.
