essential team is ready making everything to redeem themselves and hope sales will start pushing for them. The essential had some launch delays problems, then screen problems and a few other problems like lag, jitter effect, poor camera, crash, etc...
Most of these issues have been fixed but people are skeptik. They want something solid and most of them go to oneplus.
Like me, when i heard about the essential i was impressed, then the price was a let down, to pricey. And that was it's doom, the price and availibilty.

I haven't had any issues with the camera app, Oreo is also very stable, battery time is great but the Bluetooth update is certainly welcomed

Just tried out the new camera app. Took a photo of my keyboard before updating - 812KB file. After updating - 2.1MB. It definitely seems like they have fixed the over the top jpeg compression. That should help a lot!

charging dock with no data communication? dang! i hope they can make some kind of dex type dock.
