I understand that the new Bold has touch fetures to it but has any one taken in to consideration that people tend to go for BB because they do not like touch screen phones like the I-phone or Samsungs. I personaly don't get on with them at all, and a QWERTY keypad is a prefrable option for many other people. I work for a mobile phone company and it is supprising how many people specifically say no to a touch screen phone.

As for the price, it is good as the same price as the I-phone 4 and the Galaxy S II.

A lot of people do need to get a seriouse grip with their selfs on here. Go back to basics and all phones do the same, call, text, internet and so on.

I-phones, Samsungs, Nokia, BB's... Like I said its all personal choice.

Keep it up this way RIM and you'll be out of the game permanently in a five to ten years time. People want the whole package in a smartphone (hence the name), not either Business phones or media-phones. I had a Bold 9000 when it was RIM's top model and was not happy with it for a single day, partially because I had to carry around an iPod all the time. It had some great features but nothing I couldn't find in a great all-in-one smartphone. Look at Nokia's mistakes and learn!

Don't unload your frustration over internet. You dont like BB good for you. BB is not all abt BBM my clever friend. You'd know if you ever used one.

bucky, 05 Jul 2011Wow! This looks nothing like the other 15 bb's in the last ten years that have come out.... ... moreHaha, i like how you point out that this blackberry is similar in design to the older bold models. Have you ever looked at an iphone? It has had the same design layout and UI since it was launched. Why fix something if its not broken??

Furthermore, if you want a diff design just choose another BB model such as the torch or style. Please dont make idiotic judgements when you do not have any knowledge about the product or the company.

Back to topic, Blackberry sucks big time. 560 pounds for a BBM? I'm out of the boat. With that kind of money I could buy a much more powerful, versatile, better camera, phone (galaxy 2, EVEN the galaxy s would beat this crap, sensation, optimus 2x, atrix, yada, yada.)

I'd even go for the torch if I had a trauma with BBM as much people out there has. Bigger screen, same crap on everything else.

Damn.. really hoped they'll throw that touch func away, useless on that smallish screen.
could do with some cost cut..
