I did notice that currently it only does slow charging since yesterday (I installed the update on friday night) on my device. I have the US unlocked version.

Im talking about 'acting' professionally towards problem. Not talking about job. Thats not my brand. My money is my brand. I buy whatever brand I deemed as great enough to be my daily driver. I dont care about brand anymore unlike you all pathetic fanboys. Oh, yeah. I do return phone a lot too. I contribute to the return rate. Why does it matter to me about the return rate? That is your job not mine. If anything wrong, it is you and your cellphone industry is the one not doing a proper job and that is why people keep returning all these shitty phone.

No issues faced yet, using s8+ and have updated the phone.
Though, I can't see the notification saying "Fast Charging" or "Fast Wireless Charging" when connecting to a charger. Charging speed is the same.

Yolokeke, 01 Dec 2017That's why Sony is the only brand I will ever buy and trust Do you actually believe Sony is without issues? :D It's just a much smaller player so it does not get as much attention.
wer, 01 Dec 2017ohhh Samsung hater spotted. Like there is no problems with other manufactures ? Open your eyes... moreOnly clumsy guy like you can believe into that the next update will fix it. Like they fix Note 7 eh?
I am not Samsung hater i dont buy Samsung at all.
High production means poor quality. All said.
ALPHABOY17, 01 Dec 2017Because this is the 2017 consumerism and marketing. I have had the same problem for 10 months ... moreYes you ask more than that :-)
Try different brand.
As always Samsung makes ultra high production but with lacks of quality.
All their care is quantity and now we see the result.
Anything else is practicaly same.
I mean other products from Samsung not only phones or tablets.
John Lofwire, 01 Dec 2017Same with Apple lol That why i recommend my client to not take those brand.Same here. Having Lenovo Vibeshot at release date it was best lenovo available for 400 eur now brand new cost up to 250 and works like charm for over 2 years.

i work in cellphone industry selling to business directly ( so much bigger load than consumers )
Samsung have nearly 30% return rate... 3 phone out of 10 have issues.
Thats way too much... only Apple is almost as worst.

Fanboy are strange..
Which update is that?? I'm on latest firmware and mine is working perfect like before.
wer, 01 Dec 2017ohhh Samsung hater spotted. Like there is no problems with other manufactures ? Open your eyes... moreThere are issues with other OEMs too, but
1 - Those problems are very minor and mostly can be fixed through software updates, and they do blow Samsung away in terms of software updates and support.
2 - They don't ask too much price while offering just as good of a phone as Samsung does. Just a little bit higher and it can be considered as "overpriced" like iPhones. And with all of these issues? Lol I'd rather buy the LG G6 instead.
3 - As one of the biggest smartphone manufacturer at this time, problems like this are very laughable, unexpected, and a huge shame to the brand. I mean, for 8 years of making smartphones, they still haven't mastered how to make a great phone with no issues. Nobody is perfect, that is correct. But several quality checks can at least assure that the products are safe and completely working before being released to the mass society, but Samsung doesn't seem to bother enough at giving us high end products with true high end quality and overall user experience.

My Zenfone Max charging time is already quite long at 4hrs using a 1.8V LG G4 charger, but it's justified by its large battery that can charge 2 iPhone 8's and still have some remains.
Shhzd amar, 01 Dec 2017That's so unprofessional from Samsung...First world problem much. -_- Users should be professional too. Ranting like its the end of the world just because charging not working is very unprofessional. That is like ranting to your mom you out of toilet paper. Pftt. Mature up please. Have patience and it will be solved soon. Dont run away from problem but face it heads on! Complaining not going to solve anything. Who told you to buy Samsung in the first place if you cant handle it?!
