I did notice that currently it only does slow charging since yesterday (I installed the update on friday night) on my device. I have the US unlocked version.

No issues faced yet, using s8+ and have updated the phone.
Though, I can't see the notification saying "Fast Charging" or "Fast Wireless Charging" when connecting to a charger. Charging speed is the same.

i work in cellphone industry selling to business directly ( so much bigger load than consumers )
Samsung have nearly 30% return rate... 3 phone out of 10 have issues.
Thats way too much... only Apple is almost as worst.

1 - Those problems are very minor and mostly can be fixed through software updates, and they do blow Samsung away in terms of software updates and support.
2 - They don't ask too much price while offering just as good of a phone as Samsung does. Just a little bit higher and it can be considered as "overpriced" like iPhones. And with all of these issues? Lol I'd rather buy the LG G6 instead.
3 - As one of the biggest smartphone manufacturer at this time, problems like this are very laughable, unexpected, and a huge shame to the brand. I mean, for 8 years of making smartphones, they still haven't mastered how to make a great phone with no issues. Nobody is perfect, that is correct. But several quality checks can at least assure that the products are safe and completely working before being released to the mass society, but Samsung doesn't seem to bother enough at giving us high end products with true high end quality and overall user experience.

My Zenfone Max charging time is already quite long at 4hrs using a 1.8V LG G4 charger, but it's justified by its large battery that can charge 2 iPhone 8's and still have some remains.

I have had the same problem for 10 months on a5 2016 but about 5 months ago fast charging started to work again! I am thinking twice if I should buy the s8. I love this phone, but at least a year it should be working as normal. DO I ASK TOO MUCH, SAMMY???
