I get 20GB 4G data with unlimited calling for ₹ 588/- per month that's about 9$
AnonD-558092, 04 Dec 2017Yeah, but at which speed? You guys have a ''4G'' network with 3G speeds. You pay almost nothin... moreLoL its a cellular network, even with the best carrier and most solid signal you are never going to get same throughput as wired broadband, so in the end it doesn't matter really. Jio's speed is certainly not something to brag about but it gets the job done most times and the price is already insanely low and that's what matters. Jio defined India's telecommunication in less than 2 years, that's the end of it.
As a Finn, not surprised we are so much ahead of the rest. I can easily use more than 7 GB's if I'm not at home too much and can't use WiFi. Also our unlimited data plans should be mandatory around the world. Limited data usage is ancient and it shouldn't be a thing in 2017. :/
Sadly here 2GB/month = 15$ and slow as hell!!
In my country 3GB=$6
AnonD-672511, 04 Dec 20171GB/ Day is now things of past.... Now we indian are enjoying 4GB / Day for 90 days at just 7... moreYeah, but at which speed? You guys have a ''4G'' network with 3G speeds. You pay almost nothing, yes, yet Jio makes probably a 87% margin on these marginal fees.
Here in Peru:
Unlimited data acces in 4G = 15 dollars
Indians like everything which is free and less costly.
Those who are saying we spend this much , that much , hardly spent 2gb/month before jio came.
In India, it’s 60gb per 30 days!
Thanks to Jio Network who brought us the plan!
Btw, it was totally free from August to December ‘16! ;)
in portugal offers are expensive, you pay as high as 60€ for a 30GB data plan. orices here are absurd. Me personally, i have an offer with 1GB data, 200min unlimited calls per month for 14.99e month. And that's a pretty good deal already
1GB/ Day is now things of past....
Now we indian are enjoying 4GB / Day for 90 days at just 7 dollars...
i used 87GB
Below 2GB/month with mobile data. I use wi-fi network for almost all my needs and it's about 10-20GB per month.
And my friends in India consume 28gb data per month thanks to 1gb/day for 28 days plan
Nice plans you have in India and Europe. in Canada we are lucky if we can get 5GB for €35. To get 30gb you probably would pay some €60-70.
This metric probably captures lack of free wi-fi infrastructure.
As a Finn living in Germany it's sad to see and experience firsthand how bad the situation is for the Germans. Phone networks are really bad and specially data plans are so expensive in Germany. I've been using my Finnish contract in Germany all the time since it's cheaper than German ones for me. Of course that's problematic for my German friends if their plan doesn't include free calls withing EU when calling me. Luckily EU opened those limits for data and data roaming so hopefully competition will improve the situation here in Germany and also in other countries.
I use 60 gb per month in india
AnonD-715008, 04 Dec 2017We Indians don't even get satisfied with 1GB data per day. Lol! JIO is for us.Good for you. I'm european and i have exactly 30GB per month. I may use far less usually, but i think at least 30GB is a must for special occasions when you're really gonna need more.
AnonD-68674, 04 Dec 2017whoever done the survey forgot India or what post jio we are pretty much 1 GB/day everyone.Do you know how to read? the survey only includes European countries. India is not part of Europe LOL
