Asus has been committed in providing updates to their handsets. Unlike LG, which notoriously sucks in leaving their handsets in the dusts after they have released it. LG is only good in providing 1 or 2 updates and then that's it! Lucky if it reaches 3! That's how sucker LG is.

Asus is strongly commited to it´s customers and it makes perfectly good sense nevertheless their phones are way too expensive
