They use same processing tasks and queries, it does not matters what OS they are running, cause tasks are exactly same. That's why they calling it Synthetic benchmarking. To make sure different cpus on different platform will run exactly same stuff to calculate performance as precise as possible. That's why geekbench are so popular, cause their benchmark is accurately optimisedl no matter which OS you run. It is not so difficult to do really, cause A11 and SD 800 series both based on ARM architectures and both OSes based on Linux code. So yeah, A11 destroys everything you throne from android world and it is reality and OS has nothing to do with it

Regarding sd845... I agee with evolution o... morei had the LG G6 with SD821 ans changed for an essential with a SD 835.
Both have similar battery and screen size.
I get easily 3 hours of SOT on the essential.
So efficiency is also important SD821 was not so good for battery life.

Made for fuddy duddies or people whose sole ability to show off is to flaunt their $1000 phones, instead of a maybach or a private jet. Or their talents instead.
In the United States most of the guys who stabd in lines for days are the guys who still haven't cleared their card dues from the sub prime days. And they're still standing outside stores every single year since.

Beca... moreA11 is uncomparable and also have no full use in present era cuz in mobile world there doesnt exist app or a game where you will fully use A11 as the same app or game runned on older apple processor could preform with aproximetly same speed.
And the loading time difference between either of procesors will be so low that only clumsy people will cry for.

I think no. On the present world there doesnt exist any app or game which can have advantages of super expensive A11 bionic. Because older and cheaper apple processors preformed well enough.
I mean difference between running a game on either procesor is so low that it wont bother you.

Apple are ... moreDespite apple procesor is super fast its super expensive ayway if a game on Snap 845 loads in 2 seconds where A11 bionic can load same gae in 1,2 seconds and people can cry about this (Stupid not margain difference) then this world really goes to hell.

Comparing the A11 to the SD845 is more like comparing a Tesla to a LADA. Apple are years ahead on the x64 SoC as they adopted the technology much earlier. They also use more silicon, meaning their processors are more expensive (but far more powerful).

It barely reached the performance of a mobile 7th gen i7 with 2 core and 4 threads. And this is according to the unreliable synthetic benchmark called Geekbench.

Regarding sd845... I agee with evolution of technology each year. But people dont fret, till Sn820 there were differ3nces in day to day usage. LGG6 Sn 821 is completely enough to run every single game market can offer. So qny further version is actually unneeded, but due to psychological effect on people, manufacturers will continue to evolve chips and socs. People are inclined to buy newer, better, fresher things, but usually forget that we dont make things better with big margin within 2 years or so. From sn820 to sn 835 passed 2 years and single core benchmark increased by 300 points or so, but for that isnt responsible advancment but different technology used. 14nm finfeet to 10nm finfeet. Manufacturers makes socs better, for one purpose only. Power efficiency. And in las year they came a long way.
