It doesnt matter what the phone will have in it it still wont be budget phone.
Even a phone from Apple with specs of Samsung S2 will cost 800+ eur because of Apple.
Thats their speciality and skill to sell expensive and never do a medium or budget model for a lower price.
Apple will never beat chinese phones because for much less price you get a really great phone.

Definately will have to buy some equipment from sams... moreApple invested a couple billion dollars into LG Display to help them improve their OLED technology and drive competition in the OLED market. I don't think it'll be long before LG catches up and Apple either switches over entirely to LG or use both LG and Samsung for OLED supplies.

Apple also has a small OLED plant to experiment with OLED technology. They may very well discover some patent solutions they'll start leasing to various display manufacturers to drive down OLED costs.

yes . they need something new to fool new customers. like now. fapples are dying to buy Iphone X. new design will ensure these fools will rush to buy it asap

Wow !! ... then what was iPhone 6 launched liked 3 years back ? .. did it have paper back and cotton screen ??? i thought iphone 6 was launched with LCD and metal case !!

Since some of the technicians from Apple were from Nokia, Apple should have the same LCD as the Nokia 8.

Nokia 8's LCD is arguably the best because it's sunlight legibility is on par with AMOLED screens. With Apple's calibration, I hope that the LCD is almost as good as their iPhone X which used a Samsung OLED.
