Even a plug holes for a charging will be history and soon they unveil a wireless charger which can charge your phone from 0 to 100% in 30 seconds.
This technology has been developed 4 years ago.

I watch tear downs of these phones and even without the headphone jack, I see terrible uses of space in these phones. Again, until it is as seamless as it was under the micro-USB standard, the jack needs to stay. That's probably why I find the midrange market more compelling than the flagship market.

We can listen to music and charge the phone at the same time too. Definitely the points you mentioned above are so valid. A pair of earphones or headphones can go with so many other devices. I also noticed the poll so far is like 70% in favor of the 3.5mm jack/port.

If that space can be used for anything else then it will be and no matter how you try you have no choice.
Like with nonremovable batteries. Or iphones with their slim tiny battery which cant last even a day brand new.
Or curved screens on Samsung.
Unified chargers where from may of 2012 we all had micro USB and Now USB-C is a new trend.
Or when all mobile phone operators were forced to not block their phones just for their network like was long time ago.
Etc there are zillions of examples.
I follow the new trend and i dont care rest of you will soon or later do either.

Anyway jack is stupid long time ago there werent any and now all go cry and send all companies to the court for reducing the phoes with jack.
We were forced to use non removable batteries in phone.
We were forced to have a glass breakable display instead of plastic used long time ago on every phone.
We were forced to have an unified charger where long time ago every brand had a different kinds of chargers phones were also locked onto a networks so you were prohibited to use just one mobile phone operator.
Now we are forced again i make my decision and i live with it. For me jack or no i dont care when i would like to hear music i hear it nice and loud.
Because headphones reduced your sound quality a lot.
And for rest of you i try to stick with the truth flagships will have no more 3,5 mm jack hole.
Soon midrangers will follow and after maybe 2-5 years there will be no more new phone with jack.

And razer have best THX Certified speakers the best ever used in phone.
And for that quality there was no space for stupid jack.

Having choic... moreYou know what freedom is...? Freedom may be without wires but if I am forced to go without wires that isn't freedom. The keyword here is FORCED. Not without or anything. Freedom is about the limitless choices you can make and accepting its consequence, not whether you're tethered.
Having a 3.5mm jack provides me with options, and so freedom. You can still have your stupid wireless crap even when there is a 3.5mm jack. Don't restrict our freedom with your idiocy.
