Yes. Wireless headphones need recharging, wired no.
Losing 3.5mm is ok if good quality usb c headphone or dac is available.
Install 2 usb-c ports, throw an adapter in the box and then you've got improved functionality and more space for the battery.
and all these happened bcz some nutjob at iCrap thought this is courage!! removing headphone jack..
Personally I use 3,5 mm connection every day, but should there be no other way soon, the chromecast audio would cover my needs and habits.
3.5 mm headphone jack all the way.
There is nothing inherently wrong about wireless and USB-C earphones. It's just that these features should NOT be pushed down our throats and at the cost of the ever-reliable 3.5 mm jack.
Peter is right. Unfortunately, some others are not, going as far as to say, "most people don't care about the headphone jack anyway"....

Please - even if You can live without 3,5 minijack, vote for it. It's never a bad thing to have more options. Don't let manufacturers choose for You.
I could use and need both wireless-bluetooth headphone and 3.5mm wired-headphone jack at the different time , but in some occasion , i can use both simultaneously tho .
Pabliell, 10 Dec 2017I know that many people have already moved to the newer generation of devices, with BT and/or ... moreI have 500euros high quality headphones. Not so keen on changing them to USB based... but maybe in few year the 3.5 is dodo and nobody use them except some very cheap chinese phones with unknown prosessors...
I know that many people have already moved to the newer generation of devices, with BT and/or USB. But some of us, me included, use some older, but great quality hardware. With the jack. And now everyone is trying to ditch it, like some relic of the past. It's not a relic and we're not dinosaurs, we're still here with our still working hardware. Please make some good devices for us too.
